my numbers were 5 year 200. that may be a good starting point, then you negotiate from there. maybe 5 year $230 for final value, with out after 2 years

Rumors are Burrow wants out of Cincinnati. This contract for Purdy is close to what Burrow has in Cincinnati. Why pay Purdy Burrow money when you might be able to get Burrow for the same amount?

In the least respectful way, you've never watched any team play besides the 49ers and just regurgitate idiotic talking heads.
There is no planet where a guy who is 32nd in air yards per attempt, 32nd in air yards per completion, and averages 6.7 yards per attempt and 10.0 yards per completion, is better than a guy who is 1st in air yards per attempt, 1st in air yards per completion, averages 8.4 yards per attempt and 12.9 yards per completion.
Especially when the first guy is doing it with a coach who has succeeded with every mediocre QB he's ever had while the second coach has flopped with most QBs he has had.
Like I said. Anyone who thinks Purdy is even close to Mahomes is delusional. So go ahead and be that person, thats a you problem. All you need to do is rewatch the super bowl last year and you tell me which QB made plays when plays needed to be made and which QB did not.

not following this? Literally had the same guys as last yr and had a great year…told folks BA mattered but people got caught up in their feelings because of the business side of stuff.
IMO Ricky has also been getting open, but not getting targeted (or it's been inaccurate) they gotta build chemistry and unfortunately getting shot/being banged up during off season workouts hurt that chemistry.
I believe the wheels began falling off the wagon over the offseason Aiyuk scenario. Though players will never admit it, they heard the rather obvious news that Aiyuk was ready to leave if he did not get his deal and that broke up the chemistry that had been so good in the locker room. Then he misses all the offseason stuff where a lot of chemistry is built and that hurt. Things only got worse when he started off slowly. Instead of an almost automatic 12-15 yards on quick slants, the timing was off and he only had a couple of plays just before the end where things were getting back to the expected.
Not having CMC was bad, but there was never a question of loyalty and commitment with McCaffrey. He didn't break up the chemistry like Aiyuk did. In the end, this season never had a chance.

Stafford missed a lot of passes he normally hits as well.

Haven't heard that rumor. Seems pretty unlikely. Obviously Burrow would be preferable whatever the cost.

You can't refute a single thing I said because it's all objectively true.
Why are there so many Stat Paddy fanboys on here? I mean, doesn't ANYONE reject the obvious, absurd brainwashing?
There's a reason you've been banned multiple times already. You have some of the dumbest takes I've ever read like I said. Time to PM some mods
Just ignore him Gore....he thinks he is a know-it-all but he makes no sense at all. Can't really have an intelligent discussion with people like that, so it's not worth the effort. He's entitled to his opinion, but it's not worth the effort of a response. I think he just wants attention. Don't feed the troll.....just block him.

It's complicated but from what I understand about Burrow's contract, Cincy cannot afford to trade him before 2026.
As to the rumors... I doubt he leaves his buddy Chase. He has plenty of weapons, he needs a defense.

You shouldnt reply to emotional exaggerations. Unless the poster started watching football on Thursday night and stopped watching on Friday morning, theres no way it was one of the most pathetic performances he had ever seen.

He was observed yelling on the bench "trade me to Seattle ". Obviously that would be bad for the 49ers on multiple fronts.
If Burrows is going to be traded go get him and let Purdy walk for the amount of $ they are talking.

40 M- build in achievable incentives.
Win division then conference then SB.
So it will be on merit.
There are other types of incentives - I just put those in off the top of my head.

I looked it up and see that the source for this is internet lip reading a sideline conversation. Going to need more than that. They'll fire the coach before they trade Burrow anyway.
