Chase Senior is legit!!!

$50M-$60M is absolutely a hometown discount. And agreed a Baker type deal is disrespectful. Hopefully this is true that the Niners see it this way.
60m a hometown discount?

Seeing as how he has all of the leverage and could absolutely squeeze max money out of the Niners, yes. Anything under $60M average per year is a discount. If it's in the low to mid $50M's then Purdy is in Brady territory as far as signing for a discount.

I don't see him with all the leverage...this team could easily let him sit out next year and get a K.Cousins, S.Darnold to replace him. It would be nice to see him here long term but not at the cost of the team and salary cap.

Cousins' cap hits for the next three seasons are $40M, $57.5M, $57.5M. So you'd pay more for Cousins? Because remember, Purdy's cap hit next season is still his rookie deal plus a prorated portion of his signing bonus. But it will be way less than $40M.

Darnold will likely get $40M or so, so that's possible. But you'd rather have Darnold at $40M than Purdy at $55M? No way for me. And I cannot see Kyle risking his coaching career in SF on Darnold just to save $15M. He already knows he can win and get to Super Bowls with Purdy.

If Burrows is going to be traded go get him and let Purdy walk for the amount of $ they are talking.

I looked it up and see that the source for this is internet lip reading a sideline conversation. Going to need more than that. They'll fire the coach before they trade Burrow anyway.

Stefansky is a two-time Coach of the Year. It's hard to imagine him being fired.

They may fire the GM for not improving the defense in the draft.

i still don't see how it's a discount unless you think he's getting something close to 70

and who is going to shell out 40 for Darnold ?

I was just making the comment that if there was discontent between the coach and QB, the QB would be prioritized.

This is not a serious rumor.

I'll be quite disappointed in Purdy if he demands/signs a top of the market deal. It's short signed and self defeating.

Especially when he even admitted to the world that he has failed this team.
We have a poster with an essay about Mahomes being overrated and we actually have posters agreeing with it?

I know it will never happen, but if Burrows is available for whatever reason then we should give the Bengals whatever they want. He's in a different stratosphere to Purdy
