why are you laughing so much?

Because I'm not taking your comments that serious. I don't take many posters super serious so I add a light hearted lol.

Also. I love when you don't have a rebuttal and you deflect to something that has nothing to do with what is being discussed LOL.

he'll get paid. take it to the bank. when you don't like it, take it to the shanny thread. not the brock thread.

Everybody gets paid. Give me your guess on total contract, guaranteed & years. He's not like a1st round pick where you have that extra 5th option year to add to the extension. So his cap hit will be more or they have to extend him longer, so your ' out' is longer.?

Who said that? I mean....who said those guys were 'good players?'

I was using a bit of hyperbole. But certain posters who have been anti-Purdy from the beginning are using anything possible to insult Purdy. Including defending our OL which has been banged up and inconsistent at best. We have literally the worst C in the entire NFL. #1 WR who's not a real #1 distracted because of his contract, comes in out of shape and ineffective, and then out for the season. Our #2 WR who's not even a true WR has been awful. Our starting RB is cooked. Our backup RB is injured. Our 1st round pick WR was shot and missed a lot of time.

Yet our QB is still top 10 in QBR, top 15 in QB rating, 13th in completion percentage, 12th in passing yards per game, 3rd in yards per attempt, 2nd in air yards per attempt, etc. He's been our steadiest and most consistent offensive player.

The contract extension he's going to get is going to be based (rightfully so) on his overall body of work. But some would have you believe that we should extend him (or even ask him to play out a lame duck rookie deal lol) based on this season only. It's ridiculous.

i said a few pages ago 5 years $200m with an out after 2. now we may negotiate up to $225-$235m over 5. out after 2 means something like $25m aav per year for 2 years, then you have some reasonable dead cap hit if you want to move on. this is just a shot in the dark style guess

5 years, $260M, $150M guaranteed, out after year 2-3. And this would be a steal, which I think Purdy will go for to help the team out.

From a steal at 60, is now a bigger steal at 52… what will be said tomorrow

$60M is also a steal. I explained that I think Purdy will accept less to help the team out.

It's not even 3 pm and you're already drinking?

there's an irony when ppl can't say a critical word of shanny and they clowned on jimmy for 5 years. who runs this b?.. as someone once said. shanny does. we all know that. so if you don't like the moves, well direct it to the appropriate dept.

Nowhere in my debate did I say he wouldn't.

Easy because stats sometimes lie or don't match up with reality. You can be in denial about our pass pro.

By both of your flawed logic, I guess Darnold is better than Stroud Purdy and almost every other qb in the league. Check out the stats hahahahaahhaahaha.

Pressure rate, hits and number of pressures is not a fake stat…CJ and Darnold are getting both pressured and hit more than he has. Sorry that bothers you

If I'm drunk, you must be high on crack with all this flip flopping lol

So, nobody said it.....but you want me to believe the entirety of your post, ie 'people have been anti-Purdy from the beginning' stuff for instance? That's the problem....if you're making s**t up to argue in the first place, that's on you.

Now, some of the post I can agree with - this is just a lost season and it's drowned the entire franchise for the season, and I don't hold that against Purdy. The fact though is, HE'S also been part of a problem (Thursdays int was unacceptable). He's been fairly average this year, and SF is about to pay him for his future contribution. Again as I've stated....I believe most everybody thinks Purdy should get a huge payday, but he shouldn't be resetting any markets just because someone like Dak Prescott did. Most people think the current QB salaries are insane, and how 'the next one up' almost regardless of whom it is (save for someone like Baker), should be the highest paid.

He always lies and exaggerates everything to prove debate something that wasn't said. He may be drunk or high all the time

Exactly!!! Not good but many have stated they are not "the problem" Forget that a center is rated 34th in the league and has cost us a few games by himself and a right tackle that allows so many pressures even though he doesn't give up many sacks this year.
