That being said, SP did get lucky a few times js..but a joke? lolol

These threads are hilarious this week.

Never in the history of the game has a QB had as much success in the first 6 seasons than Mahomes has had. He isnt overrated in the slightest bit.

Mahomes is in another stratosphere. Know one compares to what he's done his first 6 seasons, it probably will never be repeated. He's just too good. Some teams get all the luck.

Meh that's pretty ticky tack saying that was illegal contact.

I think Mahomes gets that called back all day tbh. He also gets another 2 pi calls that Brock didn't get on his throws to Kittle
Meh

everyone is having a down year.. and if your QB isn't in sync, it just makes it harder.

49ers are 32nd in average receiver separation.

Kyle Shanahan teaches QBs to take downfield shots as much as possible. He used to chew out Jimmy for successful checkdowns.

I agree with Kyle on this one. Brock did have three guys there, definitely was an option, hindsight always 20/20. I sure as heck hope that they dnt try to coach the aggressiveness out of Brock, at the same time, he does try to do too much..so that may have sounded like I made a contradiction there. It is just when to use it I guess. Should he have taken the check down there? Probably but if JJ got it, then it would be another conversation entirely. Sometimes s**t happens, it's football. But yeah, it probably would have been better to hit one of the three. It's about balance..when to use that aggressiveness and when to just take what the defense gives ya. Brock doesn't have to sparkle and shine on every pass. Just get the yards.

This analysis is great. Did not see this on the live broadcast.

Coach the AGRESSIVENESS out of Brock? I don't see him as a QB that is agreeive with his throws. In a previous post I did mention that it looked like Jennings had slowed on the play. I did not see where the second defender had impeded his route that explains why he was off a step.

Yes

There's no situational awareness though. For Kyle it's like "Ya the corner squatted so you throw it". That's not how that play should work in that moment. That shouldn't even be the play there on 2nd and 10

That throw it up is good when you got a lb squatting on cmc or ig. They will burn them every time. You can't assume a receiver as slow as Jauan is going to blow by a cb that squats. He's not the guy to run that play with
How's the weather in Miami for the game?

I had the same thought, sure I wouldn't have minded if it was the call, but imo that's football. Lets not turn this sport into the NBA even though its already well on its way.

That first Kittle pass was textbook PI. Even Curl looked shocked that they didn't flag him for it, he was hooking Kittle's arm the whole way.

Dude has always been a gunslinger…same thing in college.

I was screaming for a PI there. s**t was so clear.

The Rams ALWAYS get a great whistle.

And his first two years were better than his last two in college. Draft notes also say he goes through stretches where he lacks confidence.

I think his SB wins/games in particular..got lucky, looked average. We could have easily won against him but....sorry, cough, Shanny s**t the bed. That was part of the problem anyway. Not down playing Mahomes' successes as a qb but those trophies really should have been ours. Major fail. We f----d ourselves hard.

Why are we knocking Mahomes to prop Purdy up? There is nothing overrated about Mahomes and his resume. He went through arguably the toughest playoff gauntlet of his career last year, beating the cream of the crop in the AFC on the road, and came out on top against us.

He has had piss-poor numbers the last 2 seasons, and people still talk about him like he's an untouchable.

At least Lamar Jackson, though a fraud who would be a running back in another era that wasn't so dumbed down to let retards like him succeed, has the numbers.

Saying that Brock is nowhere near a joke like Stat Paddy is ridiculous.

there isn't an objective football mind that thinks Brock and Mahomes are remotely close.

Think you should change your profile name with comments like that
