3-4 first round picks for Burrow, though the Brown family might rather have him retire than give in to his demands.

2 first round picks for Trevor Lawrence, needs to be a better passer but he doesn't have any real weapons.

Soothing Rodgers personality for 1 year, until Adams arrived no real threats, with a bad O-line, it's the Jets need not say more.

LMAOOOOOOO

I'd rather give Brock $75M a year than trade 2 first round picks for Lawrence and his contract.

You can't be serious.

brock's agent would be wise to bring up those 'options'

A 3 year $75 million contract would be very fair. It gives him a shot to keep his job based on the success he had in his first 2 seasons yet also does not bench him for his poor regression this year.

Let me know when you start living in reality.

I won't be shocked if we hear after the season that Brock played with a partially torn labrum or some injury like that. Hopefully he won't require surgery.
Is he on the injury report?

He doesnt have to be on the injury report if there is a 0% chance he will miss a game.

some ppl think stiffing brock for 7 years would be 'very fair'. think of how many brock commercials we have to endure is this lowballing continues.

i found this online so it must be accurate:

In the NFL, no injury can go under the radar. The league "requires that teams provide credible, accurate, and specific information about injured players to the league office, their opponents, local and national media, and the league's broadcast partners each week during the regular season and postseason".

also

if any player has a significant or noteworthy injury, it must be listed on the practice report, even if he fully participates in practice and the team expects that he will play in the team's next game. This is especially important for key players whose injuries may be covered extensively by the media.Sep 10, 2024
^Link to the 49ers getting fined or reprimanded for Warner playing on a broken ankle and it not being one the injury list?

i think they even report days off "Vet days"

yeah we seem to be running afoul of injury reporting. it's frustrating as there is no reason for it. i remember CMC was widely thought of as 'ready to go' and officially questionable. he went from questionable to IR. jets probably planning for CMC. that was a shady move and we seem to do it a lot. i don't like that.

now to clarify, we did put warner on the list

Warner was listed on the 49ers' injury report in Weeks 5 and 6 with the ankle injury.

Fred Warner hasn't been on the injury report in how long? We found out the man has been playing with a fracture in his ankle since week 4...

It wouldn't shock me at all to find out Brock has been playing with an injury after the season. Just can't imagine it's anything too crazy.

He jammed his shoulder pretty good and I think it does affect his passing. His deep passing is not as accurate as prior to him jamming it.JMO

I am really floored by the sheer lack of realistic discussion in this thread. He is a very good quarterback and there is no QB that is taking scrubs to the superbowl. Every "great" QB also had a lot of other things that helped him. We have one that can bring us to the promised land. Lets not ignore the market and start looking for another. SMDH

Id offer a nickel and he better like it.

We gave more than that to Jimmy G 6 years ago.
