I'd rather give Brock $75M a year than trade 2 first round picks for Lawrence and his contract.

You can't be serious.

Unless I missed it you never answered my question. If SF said Brock to see if someone is willing to give up multiple 1sts and pay you what you want…what realistic team would do that?

I don't think if he was a free agent that any team would give him Dak cash.

I will answer your question, in spite of me not really understanding the point of why you are asking. Trading multiple firsts for Brock is not the same as having a market for him if it didn't cost picks. Also, how many teams would be willing to do that and how many teams that EYE think should do that are not one and the same.

My personal list:

Carolina
Indianapolis
NY Jets
NY Giants
Raiders
Cleveland
Tennessee
New Orleans
Seattle

All of those teams would kill to have a Brock level QB. Then there are teams that are invested in the QB they currently have, but I think Brock is better than now:

New England
Denver
Jacksonville
Chicago
Miami

Now what teams would be willing to give up multiple firsts round picks? I can't answer that. I don't know.

I'm sure he's not playing 100%…no player is at this pt. Josh Allen played half a season with a UCL injury. Mahomes has played with high ankle sprains etc etc.

why do we have of have a QB that can only play well when he's 100%. it's sunny 75 and they play zone vs us?

Because we don't have Mahomes or Allen. Brock isn't there yet and may not be. His arm isn't as strong but he was one of the best deep pass guys last year.

He is playing OK with a s**t line and no running game IMO. 3rd in the league in YPA.

This season blows.
What is Brock's worst nightmare?

1st and 20 😂😂😂

That's not good for any offense.

There are no teams in the NFL that would give up 2 firsts for Brock lol. I'm not sure there's a team that would give up a 1st.

Also if you have any of the 5 teams in your 2nd group a chance to trade their current QB straight up for Brock, not 1 of them would do it

A 3 year $75 million contract would be very fair. It gives him a shot to keep his job based on the success he had in his first 2 seasons yet also does not bench him for his poor regression this year.

lol there are a decent number of teams who would top that easily. In the NFL, you're either drafting a QB and rebuilding, or you're paying up big money for the guy you have. Thats just the way it is. If we aren't willing to pay him market value, someone else will.

True. But some QB's can overcome a 1st and 20. Brock is not one of them.

We are sticking with Brock hoping he can become again the effective game manager with healthy elite talent around him. He also had an elite healthy defense. But Brock is in no way an Allen or Burrow. He's more of a Mayfield.

so brock has never done that ?

I'm a big fan of Kyle, but this also plays into his specific weaknesses as well.

Not that he has never overcome a 1st and 20. But the probability is low with him. With certain other QB's like Allen or Burrow, the probability is higher. This is why having an undisciplined team really hurt us this year because it was hard for Brock having a down year to overcome those mistakes. A lot of his passes this year were just off.

I'm not really a fan of Kyle. A bit too conservative. Put Campbell and him together would be the perfect mixture. But true. It's also hard for us to overcome a 1st and 20 because of Kyle's playcalling. And I also do think the lack of discipline that puts us in the 1st and 20
in the first place is a reflection on him. So many mistakes ruined us this year.

idk about that.. This year yeah. but Burrow is not elevating his team and they have the same record as us. Allen, uses his legs more to convert most of the time. On top of that those guys easily played double the seasons Purdy has and those guys haven't done what he has to start their careers.

I'm not going to hold this year against anyone and one down year shouldn't define someones career when they showed they done it longer than a year.
