This forum has really become whine central. We've whined about Kyle, Lynch, nearly every player on the O line, the D line, Deebo, Sorenson, Moody and special teams n general. You would think this team was the perennial bad NY Jets or Bears.

Been like this for twenty years or so, I reckon.

I never liked the Alex Smith pick back in 2005, but I remember people turning on him after one Preseason game. smh

And some teams haven't won them at all. 49er fans act like we are suppose to win one every year.

A lot of us experienced winning and under Eddie D and have been disappointed with his sisters family running the team into the ground more than once since. This team has also become pretty greedy despite not giving the fans what we've wanted.

How have the Yorks ran the franchise into the ground, this team has had 3 Super Bowl appearances in 20 years. Some teams haven't experienced the NFCC or AFCC in 20 years. Trust me, we have it better than 80% of the NFL, that number might be higher if you really looked into it.

What's the reason for this? Coaching? Supporting cast injured? He's clearly got a better Center than Jake Brendel. Is he having trouble playing in weather?

He just needs Kyle as his coach, and he will be a star.

I will always contend that Alex Smith coud have had a very nice career if he had better coaches and better support early on. His first few seasons were constant chaos. He joins a long lis tof QBs that had some talent but were in bad situations.

Watching this Texans/Chiefs game, and Nico Collins is better than any WR we have. Tank Dell separates so easily from defenders; we have NO ONE like that. That's all Purdy needs is two guys like that. If somehow we can find a true #1 WR then sky's the limit for Purdy.

I will answer your question, in spite of me not really understanding the point of why you are asking. Trading multiple firsts for Brock is not the same as having a market for him if it didn't cost picks. Also, how many teams would be willing to do that and how many teams that EYE think should do that are not one and the same.

My personal list:

Carolina
Indianapolis
NY Jets
NY Giants
Raiders
Cleveland
Tennessee
New Orleans
Seattle

All of those teams would kill to have a Brock level QB. Then there are teams that are invested in the QB they currently have, but I think Brock is better than now:

New England
Denver
Jacksonville
Chicago
Miami

Now what teams would be willing to give up multiple firsts round picks? I can't answer that. I don't know.

There are no teams in the NFL that would give up 2 firsts for Brock lol. I'm not sure there's a team that would give up a 1st.

Also if you have any of the 5 teams in your 2nd group a chance to trade their current QB straight up for Brock, not 1 of them would do it

What an odd response. First, I specifically said I don't know if any teams would give up two 1sts.

Secondly, I also said that all the teams on the second list are locked in with their QBs, I just think Brock is better than them. I never said they would trade their QB for Brock.

Your response is arguing or refuting nothing at all. I never said anything that you are trying to refute.

Stroud has been in the NFL for two years and has gotten all sorts of praise and hype from everyone.

Purdy has been better than Stroud both years.

If we offered Purdy for Stroud do you think they'd take it?

If they offered Stroud I bet we would.

Agreed. Put Purdy on this Texans team and they are absolutely better. Or swap Collins/Dell for Aiyuk/Deebo and the Niners would be SET.

Agreed. GM's and coaches (more so) have egos and think they can coach up more talented players. Stroud is more talented. Purdy has been the far better QB and no it's not because of better weapons.

Has nothing to do with ego.
