He used to be able to, but as is the case all year this particular group on offense can't work well together for a variety of reasons. That only gets exacerbated on long distance downs. The lack of run game right now really kills an offense.

After he threw. A throw he chose to make. Let's not pretend it was some kinda blindside disruption.
I think he's been statistically the worst or among the worst in the NFL this year in the 4th quarter and trailing by one score under two minutes.

1st and 10 with the game on the line. Guy coming directly towards him in his face.
But I will wait for the 49erFootballExpert or whatever his name is b4 I make full judgement on the play.

Hes great, I'm fine with him but he's not clutch at all. That doesn't mean he cant be or hasn't been but he's consistently not clutch.

The Purdy decline is real. The 49ers need to seriously discuss backup plans that does not include paying him a big pay day. One option that I Know Shannahan is drooling over is Cousins. I'm not a fan of that move but shannahan tries at every opportunity he can to get Cousins on this team.

Romo calling it

Purdy is not him. More and more clear every week.
Agreed. He looks worse that Tua

Tua Tagovailoa 21/33 208 1 0
Only on the webzone.....
Anything to say now?
He was literally drilled as he threw. He has easily been the best QB on the field today.
It's the nfl bro. You have to take hits and make plays. 2 weeks in a row Purdy could win the game or lose it. And he lost them both versus bad teams.

Yeah, he had Deebo wide open in the flat before that play to Jennings. And, on the INT Kittle was open on the out.
Bad play was to get tackled in bounds and he did.

He certainly doesn't have the Baker Mayfield clutch DNA that's for f**#&#! sure.
Good news is the more he plays the more his price goes down. $40m per year BOOK IT.

He talked about having Brady moments late in games in the offseason, but he's having backup QB moments

I'll give him a pass for the arm issues as I think he's been banged up since AZ game, but the indecisiveness coupled with poor vision this season has been concerning
