I think he would go the Darnold, Mayfield, etc route. He would pick up a 1 or 2 year prove it deal, maybe even a backup deal.

Dude just stop. He is playing at the same level as the rest of the team. Garbage.

Half the offense is injured major contributors not on the field. Yeah he should be throwing for 400 a game and 4 td's. I'm not giving him a pass but to think it's all on him is crazy. He will get the money though watch and see not that it's right but thats what will happen.

Nobody throws more accurately when hit than Brock. He has made throws nobody else in football would have made numerous times (see his throw to Screenbo vs. the Dolphins in 2022, as well as his throw to Kittle vs. Cardinals last year). The fact even HE couldn't make that throw means nobody could.

This. No one else seems to understand the point. The narrative outside of SF has always been that Purdy is a system QB with severe limitations. Now, all of a sudden, people think Purdy would earn 50-60+ on the open market. Not happening.
If Prescott gets it, Purdy will get it too

Prescott has put together a decade of good seasons. Purdy has put together one and a half. I don't even like Prescott, but do you actually think Purdy is more talented?

He does everything else besides being clutch late in games.

Notice the reason Tua looked good tonight and the reason Purdy missed some throws?
Imagine watching that game today and thinking the QB is a problem.

Simpleton football analysis. The OL is abysmal, they lack any big play ability outside the hashes, they are on their 5th RB, and their kicker can't bail them out on gimme field goals

And I haven't even mentioned the defense.

What do you expect him to do with his OL failing him and backup receivers/RBs not knowing what routes to take?
ol does not have nothing to do with him being blind

Last season is last season...let's not ignore how he's regressed.
Give the man a friggin' OL and then let's see what he does

I believe Prescott had a good year last year? Purdy is showing all the "issues" he was being criticized for when we were celebrating him.
