Yah the ones that want Jimmy to play again for the 49ers.

Do what now? The ones I see tearing down Purdy are the same ones I saw tearing down Garoppolo. Just look a little higher at 49erRing's post for an example.

Did I hear this right? Purdy is the first 49ers' QB to throw at least 2 TDs in 5 consecutive games since Jeff Garcia.

And there has been a lot of QB's that started since Garcia. That is sad.

That's 32.6 points per game, and all of those games have been against teams that are in the playoffs / fighting for the playoffs.... with some of them being very good defenses.

He's really balling out right now.

As someone that's very conservative about anointing Purdy as The Guy, I don't think this game "exposes" Purdy.
If anything, the flaws he showed make me say "Oh that's the worst of it?"

If 22/35, 284 yards, 62% completion rate, 2 TDs, 1 INT is one of his weaker games, that's fantastic. Some of the throws he missed were more aggressive downfield throws where he didn't place the ball well or mis-timed it. Those are correctable issues, IMO.
Are we forgetting he is still Mr. Irrelavent. The kid showed poise and confidence in the pocket today in a game that the defense struggled. Best game so far from that standpoint.

And I don't really fault him on that INT, he took the one on one he just under threw it a little. Right read, throw was slightly off.

Looks like you've got a story in your mind that you're trying to sell...

Idk why people are saying he had a bad game? If you are; rest assured you don't understand football.

This forum has a huge problem with people not understanding football.

People expect way too much. Our offense put up 37 points. Put up 37 points in a game in which the offense only had the ball three times in the first half. Was he perfect? No, but IMO he still had a really good game.

this.
being Mr irrelevant and a rookie within a scheme that one needs a year for. and that is the outcome? wow, then I would take Purdy over Brady anytime!
Brock kept looking for George downfield, but what look.to be open may not be when the pass gets there, so he went to the underneath option while moving away from the rush, sometime a bit too late
I saw poise and athleticism. I'm excited watching him grow and get better each week. Arrows up!

f**ked up reality you live in. Notice the prevailing sentiment from the rest of the forum? You're the outlier here; probably need to check yourself.

Now that Purdy has revealed some flaws in his game... (Which don't seem so bad)... The next question is...
"Does he learn from his mistakes?"

Because if he gets better from this, and I get the feeling he will, then yeah... there's a lot to be excited about with him.
