Question. Who is out there that is better than Brock? Is there anyone in the draft? Is it Darnold? One good year does not make Darnold great if thats the case then Brock has had two of those. So who do they get?

No one. No one out there including Brock Purdy is worth 60 million dollars. Therefore you don't designate a good chunk of your salary cap into a player that doesn't deserve it. Go find a serviceable guy that is CHEAP and start looking for a franchise QB the next few years…

At least Darnold can throw the ball down field. Purdy is a mobile version of Garapolo. Can't throw down field and mistake prone.

Because he's a really nice, chill dude. He really is. The kind of guy you love but when you get buried into that it's hard to see there are issues as well. The 9ers fans want A Brock Purdy wholesome dude who plays like the Elites. I don't think Brock is that guy. I wish he were. Starting over and over and over sucks

Yep and he is just doing what any other person would do get the most money he can for stabilty. Plus I would say the players union would frown quite a bit if he were to agree to a bargain basement deal. Psssst IT"S NOT OUR MONEY

i'm not sure how you walk away from this game thinking Brock Purdy was the problem today. The offensive line was absolutely terrible. Shanahan's game management was once again embarrassing. The run defense was outflanked all game. Purdy was not the reason we lost.

he is part of the problem. Nobody said he was the only problem. Yes the o line is horrible. Yes Kyle is pathetic. Yes we have no defense without law. I agree with you but you also have to throw Brock into the blame stew. He was not good today. He can't just be good when everyone else is. Seriously, the kid is going backwards.

Right because IMO there is no one out there that is a sure fire upgrade over Brock sure Darnold has a cannon arm but like I said one good year is not enough to go on. A lot of QB's have had one good year look at the Matt Flynn

Please change title of thread to Purdy Chokes Again. I know he will say he needs to do better. He just never does. Can't count on him and gotta move on. Too bad we don't still have Darnold the winner
