2 guys blocking 1 and Campbell comes up the middle untouched.
He had another guy underneath wide open. Hero ball strikes again

Looks like JJ is there. The checkdown was there but that's such a split second decision with a monster of a human coming down on you. That's basically a pre snap decision

That doesn't show anything because Jennings quickly goes offscreen. That's why I'll wait for the All 22 but it looked like Jennings had decent depth on the corner.
I didn't get to catch much of the game, will have to look later but saw some smh moments from Purdy I think..but that was quick glances at the screen.
If we want to win the Superbowl, significant changes have to happen. I've been on the Purdy bandwagon, but we need an upgrade at QB to go all the way. I don't want Cousins or Rodgers here.

You can wait, but it's pretty easy to see that the coverage dropped back and was giving up whatever underneath. He had PTJ on the check down

Youre not winning a SB with any QB they could realistically acquire with the current state the OL is in. I would start there and eliminate that as a concern along with getting more stout up the middle defensively.

Done.

I agree. Let's start with the current state of the GM and eliminate him first.

I hope every smart fan pays attention to this.

I have been b***hing about this for 3 years. If we don't focus on the line this year it's groundhog day all over again.

The D line has just this year become a problem IMHO.

He was not open, it was a dumb throw

Uh, yes. Yes he was. Wide open, at that. Brock makes that throw in his sleep.

I agree, WIDE open and without the pressure Brock lands that throw np. These know-nothing fans with a loud voice absolutely ruin the WZ. I've come to the site less and less in the last 2 years. The majority of threads is "This member has been blocked, click here to view your list".

Stop with the 'know-all' comments. Your opinion on this throw is no different than others that see it as ' should have checked down' or 'should have taken the sack' .
Purdy has made plenty of poor decisions this year and not worth that $50-60M contract.
I don't even want to resign him at this point. Earlier in the year during meaningful games he had chances to make 4th quarter comebacks or game sealing drives....and failed. And then today during a meaningless game still not enough. I don't see fire or magic. He's certainly not worth even 50 mil can we agree on that.

There's QBs that transcend and he's not it. I really like him as a person so this is hard to admit, but please do not pay him. Move on

Calling this hero ball is demonstrating that you are clueless.

No team is giving up on a 25 year old QB that has had a run like he had in his first season and a half. By the same logic you'd also agree on cutting ties with CJ Stroud who had an amazing rookie season and has struggled immensely at times this year.

Whether or not they end up sticking with Purdy long term, they have to make quite a few upgrades as is. That should be the priority, not pressing for QB in a dogs**t year for QBs in the draft or bringing in someone expensive and old like Cousins.

This, pretty common sense stuff.

Yes you're absolutely right. And I think I can be right at the same time. Treat Purdy like a bridge...or gap QB as some folks say and fix other areas. But do not pay him. If he demands something astronomical then cut ties.

Let me ask you this...do you want to pay him top dollar?
