i'm talking about end of game gotta have it drives. we had one yesterday an opportunity and failed. this is where the stat geeks don't give mahomes enough credit. he avoids the mistakes and makes the critical plays in winning time, even if the stuff around him is execution errors.
I agree, that's when QBs make their money. Same with Allen. It's not scheme based stuff for the most part, it's extending plays and making pin point throws. It's making the proper reads pre/post and bailing if you gotta. It's those no look passes from stafford and slinging it into tight windows. It's not turning the ball over as soon as you get a chance to win it.
s**t look at Daniels this yr. He not loaded with elite playmakers. He's got scary Terry and a bunch of role players. That OL is not amazing. Dude is making plays and can spin it.

If Burrow wanted out, and the Bengals were willing to give him up for Purdy + three 1sts, would you do it?
I'm worried our fanbase is going to spend all offseason banging the table for this

yup. we have become predictable and our QB is limited. brock does some things very natural, but he's a pretty soft tosser. downfield strikes and throwing the deep outs isn't his bag. yet that's what this shanny system it would be ideal to have. what we are doing doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
What's predictable?

Be smart about it. 1st down just outside of the RZ with like 4mins left.. maybe don't throw a YOLO ball…Your left side of your OL is down to a 3rd stringer guy and some random LG who hasn't played all yr, be cognizant of that.
I got no problem with Brock situationally being a gunslinger, Matt Ryan did that in 2016 BUT he wasn't turning the ball over either.
FWIW I don't put that last INT on Brock

From my understanding at no point during that route is the wide receiver open. He was covered from the get go shouldn't even have been an option. We can excuse the bad throw by blaming the oline, but it's a bad read with Brock just staring down his target…
Originally posted by dj43:I don't put that INT on Brock, just the decision to go there at the time. it wasn't 3rd or 4th down. He just had the same scenario the week before.

Sherman is not the only guy screaming for the 49ers to fix the OL if they are going to pay Brock.

Burrow was doing s**t like this all game
JOE BURROW WITH ONE OF THE CRAZIEST PLAYS OF THE SEASON.

ESCAPES FROM 5 DEFENDERS… SPIN… OVER THE SHOULDER INSANE THROW TO HIS TE.
😱😱😱
ABSOLUTELY INSANE.

Higgins didn't do a damn thing to make this TD happen…dude had missed like 5 or 6 games and constantly been in and out of games.

Burrow's OL has been trash for years and he's consistently put up 4,000+ and 30+ TDs.
I like Brock, he ain't Burow or the other top dogs and yet wants to be paid as such. That's a problem

the whole setup. establish run, and you have no backs, so you are dead in the water. not enough balance to say ok the pass game will carry us this week. then you have the intermediate in breaking routes that every team sits on cuz that's all brock throws.

Literally that's what damn near every team does. The team is 49% run 51% pass this ur…Last yr it was literally 50/50.
the lions who you love so much is so dependent of the running game and play-action. Same with Minn.
