QB Brock Purdy Thread

I am not sure why all the pounding on each other. One thing is true. We do not know what Brock is quite yet. No need to fight that is fact. Now if I were Jed what do I do? This team despite some pretty good contract moves with excellent escape clauses has also fumbled a time or two.

Does a guys likability in the locker room and with fans dictate his pay or is it his performance which as far as I am concerned is unanswered. And nothing wrong with that. What bugs me the most is going in year nine this should still not be a discussion and that is on Kyle.

It's a complete waste of time. We want to buy more time to evaluate Purdy if possible, not less. Dobbs is a bottom barrel backup.

yup. now part of that is they had first and goal and it was a really dumb penalty for not getting on the line of scrimmage and that started kyle's blood boiling, then they get backed up and have to kick, the blood continues to boil, then moody misses, that was the cherry on top. you can see kyle yell 'MFer' and throw the surface tablet.

that's my interpretation, there are a lot of things, starting with deebo fighting his tail off for yards, and it came back due to a really stupid and basic penalty. 14 not on the LOS. the whole operation has gone sour and he knows it. we can only hope he vows for some changes this offseason.

And it's not Moody's fault. He shouldn't be playing in the first place. He has become Kyle's scapegoat.

Playing Dobbs or Allen would accomplish nothing but piss the locker room. This isn't Madden.

Zero teams wanted to draft him less than 3 yrs ago. Now with one great season and one bad one he's worth $250M? Theres gonna gotta be a middle ground there imo

NFL is not for long. if you look at Atlanta, Cousins is a nice guy, ok he got paid by ATL, and they stuck the knife in the back on draft day. and now he's old news and they will seemingly cut him. so this is the league we are in. i do feel brock has earned some bump, but these games are getting to be so lousy. his arm gets worse by the week somehow. i have never seen anything quite like it.

Dude has half a dozen sponsorship deals and one way or another will be earning tens of millions of dollars a year while in his 20s.
