You guys love being wrong in the name of blaming Brock for everything. That's just an unfortunate play. His knee got hit at the perfect timing. Hit happens half second earlier/half second later and there's no injury at all

Purdy hasn't exactly been at his best this season, but It's not like he's had much help either. Next year will be better all round.

Things not being a QB's "fault" is not logical reasoning for paying them over $50M a year.

$40M per yr until his play improves.

He can play out his last year, later get franchised, etc.

Most posters here still have Jimmy-itis: "Damned the team... I just want a QB I can believe in!"

That's the only reason for their outrageous takes.... its the same exact set of guys that overrated Jimmy (surely a lesser QB than Purdy).

Seeing Brock get $60M a year gives them hope and belief that Brock is on par with Mahomes. That is ALL they want.

I wasn't a fan of Jimmy. It has nothing to do with that. I don't think he'll get 60, but it's also not what's going to make or break this team if he does. It has nothing to do with believing he's Mahomes bro there's just some people that understand how the market works

It's not going to cripple the team lol. The Cowboys suck because of Jerry, not Daks contract

He's a 24 year old that's done pretty good so far. He matches up with young QBs that are getting paid in the 55 mil range and that's what he'll get. That's just how it goes man

If that's what they want to do then whatever. It's being reported that they want to get an extension done though so we'll see how it goes

Make him play it out. If he plays good enough - extend him. If's he's average - let him look for his bag somewhere else.

What's the rush? He is under contract. He did not have a good year regardless of the reasons people offer as mitigation. Brock did more to prove he is in the Jimmy g , Danny dimes comps than anything else. He has not earned the right to be the highest paid QB in the league. He just hasn't… We don't need a $60m flop to add to the lance fiasco.. that hole is deep enough. For the record. I hate Jimmy g and I was wrong about lance. Thought the kid had something but that just goes to show just how bad Jimmy g was. I would have continued to play lance over Jimmy if that was our only option.

The franchise tag will be $46M in 2026 which is more than the $40M you're saying he should sign for. Lol

I just want to keep Purdy. I am guessing Shanalynch agree and the money will work itself out. The dealers irrelevant to me.
I don't think Brock is as good as Mahomes.
