I don't think Brock is as good as Mahomes.

The numbers are relevant to people that have a need to keep up with salary cap numbers, limits, projections, draft picks, et. al.

You don't think he's as good as Mahomes? What ever gave you that idea.

I care about Brock's salary because I want to watch a competitive team over the next years. Whoever makes that decision I hope they see Brock cannot lead a less talented team to the promise land because IMO, he does not have that capability.

They know enough to know if they want to extend or not. It would be dumb to say this season decides his future. It would also be dumb to say his 2025 season is what decides his future. They've had him for 3 years and been in the biggest moments with him. He at least proved he's not a pants s**tter like Jimmy in those spots, so that alone is huge

You guys were flipping out over Trey, but they clearly knew enough. They didn't need to see anymore. I think that's the case here. They know enough and it seems like they want to extend him. They know more than we do about a player they work with everyday

I get it and very good points however purdy has not proven he is worth the money. I see tendencies that are very concerning. Poor decision making. Not seeing the field and not taking what the defense gives you. He is playing at a backup level. I am sorry but our eyes don't lie. His scrambling drills are becoming horror shows. Holding the ball too long. Getting happy feet just like Jimmy. The jumping up bit to see over line men. Its year 3… I see regression not progression.

We see him about 17-19 times per year. Based on what you've seen he hasn't earned an extension. Based on what they know, which is way more than you, they think he has earned an extension

They probably don't watch the film through the lens of a resentful Trey fan. I guarantee they don't lay nearly as much blame at his feet as Trey fans do

What you fail to comprehend is I was a big Purdy fan. Thought he was going to be elite. Our qb for years to come. My view is in no way shaped by Lance. I defended Brock plenty but what I am seeing on game day, which is all that matters, is not worthy of 60m. No way.

Gameday is all that matters in your mind. That's not the only thing they base this on, and I don't think they are as quick as you are to say everything on gameday is Brock's fault

pay him top dollar but ask him to leave some room to for the o-line

Purdy is a top 10 QB who still needs to develop. They don't need him to be elite, they need him to continue to get better and learn
