I've seen you use the term hospital ball multiple times lately and I am 100% convinced you don't know what it means.

I get it and very good points however purdy has not proven he is worth the money. I see tendencies that are very concerning. Poor decision making. Not seeing the field and not taking what the defense gives you. He is playing at a backup level. I am sorry but our eyes don't lie. His scrambling drills are becoming horror shows. Holding the ball too long. Getting happy feet just like Jimmy. The jumping up bit to see over line men. Its year 3… I see regression not progression.

We see him about 17-19 times per year. Based on what you've seen he hasn't earned an extension. Based on what they know, which is way more than you, they think he has earned an extension

They probably don't watch the film through the lens of a resentful Trey fan. I guarantee they don't lay nearly as much blame at his feet as Trey fans do

Ironic how this connects all of the Purdy haters.

I was wondering why he considered that a "hospital ball" lol. I guess any throw that ends in a tackle is a hospital ball to him lol.

Led him right into the defender...not the first time. He's also done this to Deebo and Kittle over the last two seasons.

The problem is that he is regressing.

Impossible not to with this team

Agree to a certain extent. But his decision making worries me a bit. Not checking down, not throwing the ball away, throwing to a receiver without even seeing him ( the JJ throw). Those decisions have nothing to do with the talent on the team

Bad play breeds bad play. You throw any qb on a team with bad protection and slow skill players and you will see some dumb plays over the course of 17 games. You wont get perfection in the midst of a clownshow, especially from a 2nd year starter

You talking like we're an expansion team means nothing as well. Context is everything.

We basically are an expansion team this year

Thinking we would be good means nothing, sorry to break that to you. People thought Trey Lance would be good too, it means nothing

Gameday is all that matters in your mind. That's not the only thing they base this on, and I don't think they are as quick as you are to say everything on gameday is Brock's fault

Never did I say everything that happens on game day is his fault but to say that game day performance is not what QBs are graded on is just wrong. Practice play means nothing if you don't do it on game day. Lets get serious.

You wouldn't think this way if you spent as much time with him as the team has. You wouldn't put the entire decision on 17 days out of the year playing with a team that's overmatched
