Is there a way we can see what other teams would offer him yet we still have the power to retain him or allow the trade to go through?

Oh man that would be the worse thing to do as a franchise. That would get leaked immediately

plus no out side franchise would offer more, the home franchise gets screwed/overpay trying to keep their players

crickets for good reason. numbers are overrated. they would suggest that goff and darnold are better than mahomes and other false takes. how about calling houston and asking if they want brock for cj? how does that convo go?

this is where the convo goes off the rails. QB eval should be isolating what the QB can do and what the QB can't do. not saying well he would be better with an OL upgrade and a WR upgrade. any QB would be better with upgrades.

as an aside, if you follow the picture around the league, i see us moan about injury, and diggs is out for the year, dell was just in the hospital, and collins has missed time. nfl football has injuries that's reality folks.

stats would tell you darnold is garbage, and now he's amazing very suddenly. in fact i hear that take a lot. so that informs me of how ppl got to that conclusion. they don't even watch him, they just are aware of the stats. when we signed him, i looked back at some of his games that i never watched and you can see a ton of talent clear as day. i don't look at the stats, i like to watch guys play that will tell you more imo.

This is where you're wrong. It's not about what a QB can do at their best. Will Levis can make crazier play/throw than Tom Brady. So can Jamarcus Russel. So can Trey Lance. That's not what matters

Every QB will be better with a good OL, but not all have the potential to be an elite QB with a good OL
