maybe that was Purdys high water mark. Maybe that was the best he has to offer and it's all downhill from there. I mean, there's a reason he was Mr irrelevant in the first place. That's really what the Niners are gonna overpay for? Just because the jags, giants, and dolphins overpaid for their average qb's, does that mean we have to do the same?

It is quite possible that we have seen Purdy peak out last year. He had an elite group of talent to work with, was front runner for MVP for a good chunk of the season and made it to the Superbowl. I certainly hope not, but we may have seen the best of Purdy, especially when we throw the bag at him.

Yeah, but Brock has run the offense sucessfully. He can make it even better, depending on how the chips fall. Don't know until you know.

Aiyuk and CMC are useless because they were hurt. CMC was the OPOY just last season. Trent sucks? He went through a terrible year with his wife losing 2 children at birth and then having an injury on top of it.

Brock is a good scrambler but he's not a threat to break a big run. Teams don't worry bout his running. His deep throws tend to float a little which often causes his receivers to slow up for the ball. That gives the DBs time to recover. No way does he have a rocket arm.

Aiyuk was useless before he got hurt this year.
Trent sucked ass this year. He sat out and was way out of shape after holding out for money.

Great insight.

Vs what you posted?
What I said about his deep passing is a simple fact as is my point about the highest paid offensive players being useless this year.

The entire team was useless this year. Evem some players that weren't injured had off years because so many key players around them were missing.
Injuries are not gonna save shanny this year. Not when lynch is saying to look at the other team (the lions) and look where they are. It was a helluva shot at Kyle by our GM.

its too bad that interview was done last week on KNBR cause its got buried by the holidays. But it was definitely a shot at Kyle.

Disingenuous/short sighted comment.

They still have the best O-line in football. It's intact.

That's the backbone of the entire offense right there. Lions don't need to scheme around awful linemen.

Amazing what you can do when your starters aren't practice squad quality.

i disagree, lynch is a HOF gold jacket wearing ring of honor member. he's gonna fall on the sword before he takes shots, and if he takes shots it will be man to man. not in the press. he's just saying rightfully that you learn nothing if you just sit there and say welp we had lots of injuries. that doesn't inform you to what you got wrong. you have to find the lesson in each loss or you will probably run back a losing season. every team has injury and that's what NFL is, it's a test of your depth. i saw Philly throw a dime TD pass with QB3 yesterday they dominated.

Brock purdy.

The Purdy Peak happens when he lifts up the Lombardi in '26

Purdy looks really good in this game so far.

Then the 4th quarter comes...
Here comes Mr. 4th Quarter. Can he finally pull one out this season?

There you go, lol
He ain't elite so perhaps we get a more prototypical player and start grooming him. Brock has earned the starting spot both he hasn't solidified being the franchise just yet
It's pretty damn simple now - I mean really simple. You make him play out his last year on rookie deal. PERIOD.
Just good enough to get you beat.
