The 49ers would be stupid to pay him 60 million. He's been no better than Nick Mullens this season.

One bad decision/read, one terrible miss.

When he's on, he's elite. When he's bad, he's really bad. Reminds me of Brett Favre minus the rocket arm.

Who throws the worst interceptions at the worst times , Purdy or Jimmy G???

Jimmy usually came through at the end of games. Regular season anyways.... Sorry but not sorry. I'm completely fine with paying Brock and won't complain but I just don't think he's very mentally tough when the game is on the line.

Comments like this are just so stupid I really don't know how you're able to function on a daily basis.

Where the f**k do you guys come up with this b******t!!! I swear of you fans are…..&"&@$@@$&@$@)@$@&@!!!!!
Why does this keep f**king happening to the 49ers? A guy looks like he's going to be our Franchise QB then turns into s**t in 3 years. Happened to Kaepernick, Garrapollo, and now Purdy.

Montana, I like your counter arguments, very convincing.

Nothing much to counter, if Darnie lost most of his best players..would be a different convo right now. He has improved sure but that whole team is on fire right now..while we are all busted up. Purdy has not been perfect but the talent is still there and I do think he is injured some/having problems with his arm, despite what the team has told us. Idk.

I think Purdy tries to do too much, as I have said before. He likely doesn't trust players and probably feels like it's all on his shoulders and that is when he can get into I guess, "hero ball". Being in this situation teamwise would be hard on any qb.

This is a learning experience for him..he is still quite young..will grow from it. Like Shanny was saying. But to just cry for Darnold..well..I mean, he said he got better from being on the 49ers..playing with Brock etc. Should say quite a bit about our team.

Adapt and grow..

Patience, we will be back

Yeah, just thinking out load. Love to upgrade with Darnold, but that ain't happening. Purdy, should be sufficient enough to execute Shannahan's offense. Just needs his playmaker's healthy most of the season. Healthy players coming back, a good draft, extend Brock and some FA pickups, we'll be right back contending. You can't sleep either, huh? I'm an insomniac, when people are getting up is when I usually fall asleep. If, I do fall asleep, lol. It can be a b***h.

Don't most quarterbacks need their best players on the field consistently. I'm not down on Purdy as most are but dang everyone is tooting Burrow and look where he is at. Dak same thing. Cousins same thing. Love same. Even Stafford struggled last year when there were injuries. Not to mention…..who the hell was playing on left side of the oline? Hect? In the words on Mcgreggor…. Who the f is that guy.

Point is that everyone knows how hurt we have been. Purdy struggling to find himself a bit. The first half of this game he was damn near perfect. I only hope he doesn't kill is financially for the next five years or we will be letting allot walk.
We just got confirmation that he has been injured all year long (well, since the Vikings game at least). That was a completely uneventful hit and he couldn't even grip the ball. It's his elbow.

No, he didn't go from nailing every out throw to completely sucking at it for no reason whatsoever, or nailing every deep ball he didn't overthrow to underthrowing every deep ball, nor sailing intermediate in cuts 10 yards over people's heads, nor sailing balls 10 yards over the head of guys 2 yards away from him, or throwing 5 yards behind guys on drag routes, for no reason.

The out throw that Pearsall had to one hand was a horrible throw (no matter what Aikman said) that he would've nailed in 2023. He had perfect protection. The Jennings out throw that he left hanging inside on 3rd and 10 was another ball he nails every time in 2023.

The first interception was pure inability to control the ball thanks to the elbow.

The second pick he was simply late on the throw, but who knows how the elbow affects his time to release.

The fact Kyle Shanahan continued playing him is a fireable offense.
If he is seriously hurt it might save us from having to pay him. Terrible and costly interceptions. Can't put the team on his back and win it. Simply not good enough.

Hey, extrapolate Nick's 8 starts in 2018 to 16 games, and he had over 4,500 yards, 26 TDs. With an average Y/A of 8.3. And he wasn't exactly surrounded by great talent.

This year Brock is averaging 8.3 Y/A and only has 17 TDs.
I do feel bad for him. We've vastly under paid him for 3 years but unfortunately you cannot extend this guy for significant $$.... It would be irresponsible as a franchise.

He's making a handful of dumb decisions per game and seemingly can't stay healthy.
Now what's wrong with him? He hurt his elbow again? He was reaching for his elbow on the sideline.
Haven't watched the game:
Please tell me that the two int were bad luck.
