No, he didn't go from nailing every out throw to completely sucking at it for no reason whatsoever, or nailing every deep ball he didn't overthrow to underthrowing every deep ball, nor sailing intermediate in cuts 10 yards over people's heads, nor sailing balls 10 yards over the head of guys 2 yards away from him, or throwing 5 yards behind guys on drag routes, for no reason.

The out throw that Pearsall had to one hand was a horrible throw (no matter what Aikman said) that he would've nailed in 2023. He had perfect protection. The Jennings out throw that he left hanging inside on 3rd and 10 was another ball he nails every time in 2023.

The first interception was pure inability to control the ball thanks to the elbow.

The second pick he was simply late on the throw, but who knows how the elbow affects his time to release.

The fact Kyle Shanahan continued playing him is a fireable offense.

Haha

He might be right about Purdy being injured still but fireable offense is wild lol.

He's being paid 60m for 2022/23, not because of this year

Teams play man and concentrate on the middle throws. Thats a big reason for the lesser output strategy wise. A better line and a wr who can actually blow past the secondary would negate this.

Nobody concentrated on anything. Brock simply missed a throw he hits last season because his elbow is injured, and was late throwing the second ball (which could've also been related to the elbow in the sense he needs more time to set up...or could've just been slow processing).

This entire post is complete speculation.

You thought Kap was a franchise qb? Ooof. He had a good year but was very mediocre. Then cared more about kneeling then anything else.

Jimmy also had like one good season? Was it even a whole season?

Purdy has looked better than both and accomplished more than both. He isn't s**t but has come up short in some prove it moments but I guess we're forgetting how good Burrow is doing right now. Or how Allen and Lamar and others have also come up short in key moments.

Purdy looked good surrounded by pro-bowlers. The real test of a QB is how he looks with average talent. And yeah, the fan base though Kap and Jimmy G were the answers for awhile, but they all kept declining to the point where they were unplayable. Purdy is in the middle of a slide.

If the 49ers give him a huge contract, it'll be one of the worst mistakes in franchise history.

Not saying he sucks, but he's very average.

Really? You don't think playing a QB who needs elbow surgery in the off-season when the team isn't even in the playoff race anymore is a fireable offense? What about playing Fred Warner when he has a broken bone in his ankle in this same situation?

Did you forget what he did to RG3 in Washington?

I agree. Someone posted his stats when down in the 4th. 3tds 7 ints.

The same people calling for Purdys head were cheering their tails off last year for him. Give it a rest. Walk away regroup then come back stop with this give me now attitude. He was damn near perfect in the first half with pin point accuracy.

don't get me wrong I'm frustrated with the ints and about this year but to want to kill a career ever a bad season is dumb.

What do these supposed "Pro Bowlers" have to do with him sailing balls 10 yards over the heads of open receivers, or throwing way behind them?

Per decade? Why not?

Are we ready for some more offseason QB wars?

Please tell me that the two int were bad luck.

Overthrow and stare down. Big disappointed in the boy

The more games that go by, the less confident I am with Brock.

That is the direction it continues to go unfortunately. John looked stressed as f**k lol

Judging by the look on Purdy's face when he checked himself out of the game, he knows he cost himself millions tonight, if not tens of millions.
