Look at the actual sequence of plays, lol. Two of those drives killed any chance of running the ball because of what happened on 1st down. Like I mentioned, we can complain that he called passes on those 1st downs and then b***h about the final sequence before Moody missed the FG on drive 3. Outside of that, it's not a very strong criticism outside of just looking at the numbers on paper, free of context.
Are we really going to blame Kyle when he calls a pass on 1st down with a hot QB on possession 2, gets a guy open, and the QB sails it over his head for an easy pick? We shouldn't. And we also shouldn't blame Kyle for calling passes when we are behind the chains, exampled on possession 4.
Fair point. Regardless of "sequence", it's egregious to call 2 run plays in an entire half of a 1 score game. Possession 3 with the 3 straight incompletions, and then possession 4 when he threw the pick. 10 straight pass plays before the pick 🤷 again…. 1 score game
