Ok...

Has any QB ever had two UCL injuries and go on to be a successful QB? This is risky situation to sign him long term IMO. Hopefully he's OK and it isn't the UCL but seems doubtful.

What seems doubtful? It is doubtful that it isn't a UCL injury? The most likely scenario is that he got hit on his elbow and has inflammation to his ulnar nerve (AKA the funny bone - which isn't a bone, btw).
Would anyone trade for Purdy with his recent performance and injuries? I doubt anyone would trade 1st round picks for him.

What do we think he would get from another team if we let him walk?

I love his feel for the game but he's worth more to us than he would be to anyone else.

But even with that being said, I will never pin a loss on a quarterback for making a couple mistakes when the only reason the team was even in the game to begin with was because of his play. I don't care if the QBs name is Brock Purdy, Joe Montana or Alex Smith.

Two really bad plays. That's it.

49ers scored 7 points in the 2nd half with Purdy as the QB. Dobbs looked pretty good in his scoring drive and it was noticeable how much better his arm is than Purdy. It was more then just two bad throws. Also Purdy was hitting a lot of big plays to wide open guys in this game. Which i credit to Shanahan and Detroit terrible D.

I don't know about two Tommy Johns, but I know someone who has had two Jimmy Johns.

Werent they as open for Dobbs?

or is it different for him because you like his arm?

Dobbs in garbage time supersedes Brock's body of work?

But tonight has not been an anomaly. He has thrown back breaking interceptions all season. Just two weeks ago in the rams game and the 3 he threw against KC and those are just from the top of my head. So acting like this was a one off is not the case.

His passes had nice velocity, he just had a couple that got away from him.

Been a bad trend this year. There's usually something else going wrong on the play, but the only thing wrong on both picks last night was Brock. I expect him to make the right play 95% when he has protection like that, but instead he grouped 2 of his worst ints together in like 2 straight drives

One got away. The other one the defense fooled him.

Inverted Cover Two is not an easy read. It seems it is relatively new. In any case, the throw was where it needed to be if he had not been fooled.

Yeah, I was concerned about all the reports about his velocity. Looked good to me. So, at least in my mind, I could put all those reports to bed.

This team is not good enough to overcome any offensive turnovers. Purdy had to have the perfect game yesterday for them to win. Alot to ask, but he's about to get paid

I'm not worried, if we had our injured players we would have beat their asses again.

Hes confident in his presnap read, but if he doesn't lock on and he catches that safety rolling down, I think he could just come back to a wide open Jennings on the other side (only seen one bad view of the play so not completely sure). Montana always said the safeties tell you what defense is doing and Brock clearly didn't even peek
