It could have been that he was scared but we don't know. Maybe I am overreacting and will gladly have tomatoes thrown at me later if that is the case lol

Alex was a completely different situation.
lol wut? I have 112k posts , yeahhh I've been here and provided all kinds of medical info on a UCL repair/timeline/rehab.
Again he hit his funny bone. Why you think that's the same thing as re-tearing a UCL is beyond me

my wife is a DPT, I ask her about this s**t all the time.
Don't believe me how about a real doctors take

Hit in "funny bone" by facemask
Ulnar nerve issue, not UCL
Unrelated to elbow surgery
Transient numbness/tingling
Hard to grip ball
Expect MRI to be fine
Playing Week 18 possible
Won't affect long term contract pic.twitter.com/a8MiEHuo2z
When I said arm strength man..I mean he couldn't throw the ball due to the nerve irriatation.
Have you never hit your ulnar nerve? Yeah no s**t he couldn't hold a football right after it happened.

His stats when trailing 11TD 13 Int. 6-10 record. This cannot be blamed on the o line. And the bigger point if you pay him 50+ million a year the offensive talent will not be as good and the o line as well.
I do think part of that is the OL failure and defenses taking advantage of their blocking scheme in passing situations. There's some coordinators like Spag and Flores that you can tell have really studied this offense. Stroud was awful against the Vikings, but Flores was also schooling Slowik. Him and Kyle should get together this offseason and figure that out

Who could blame him for being scared when his surgically repaired elbow felt like fire etc.

I don't see this team suddenly being contenders again next year and Brock suddenly being a good QB again after a payday. Some of those picks were egregious. We are seriously in a pickle.

Potential nightmare scenario. It is his elbow, per Kyle.
Kyle Shanahan says Brock Purdy left the field in the fourth quarter after injuring his right elbow. His status for the finale it up in the air.

Sitting him down at halftime when you need him to improve late in games before giving him a major contract would've been pretty stupid.

You see next yrs schedule? It's ridiculously easy. They need a good draft. Resign Dre (will be much cheaper), give Kittle an extension and add some vet help in FA and this team is in business imo.
brock doesn't stink. He's never gonna be that Burrow/allen type guy.

Are you serious, the only thing in a pickle is your head. We'll be contenders again next year, like every year. Everything has to go just right to win a Championship. Otherwise, everyone would win every year. Sorry, didn't mean the pickle thing, just thought I'd throw it back at you.

Tell him, to stay positive, NY. Six is coming, people. Keep them heads up high and remember. Things don't always come on time. In other words, take a red.

Folks being silly. If you're afraid of injury he shouldn't have played at all.
not sure why we have to blame someone for everything bad that happens?

Agreed on all counts, especially your first point regarding our schedule. Next year, we play the NFC South, the AFC South, and—assuming we lose to AZ—the last place teams in the NFC North (Bears), NFC East (Giants), and AFC North (Cleveland).

He said it was his whole arm, so everything could have been an issue.
