I care we overpaid Aiyuk. I'm worried about the percent of the cap Brock will consume, given it is so rare to win a SB with a QB taking more than 13 percent of the cap, which is less than $36m of next year's cap. But this situation evolved because there are a lot more receivers that can give you a reasonable chance to win a SB than the dozen or so quarterbacks on the planet. So if you are going to break the rule, I acknowledge QB is the position to do it. Don't do it again elsewhere. The Pat never did. They traded or let players walk. The Chiefs let Tyreek Hill go to Miami. They both keep winning. There is Nobody Bill Walsh wouldn't trade when they got only slightly old or expensive. The human nature error teams and especially fans make is weighing the move only on the replacement at that position, which probably will take a hit, but it's the whole team that counts. Except quarterback.
