Rodgers or Cousins and trade him.
I have. But if you think Rodgers is the answer—even for a season—you're insane. He's a cancer and he's completely washed up. I watched almost every single Jets game this season.
I doubt you watch their games because me and everyone and their mothers say that he's slinging it.
Like Brock but fails from behind when all is on his shoulders time after time.
This is laughable. And yes, I do watch their games—albeit, not by choice…
No, you don't watch or you wouldn't be trying to argue.
why would I lie to you?
Simple. To argue and try to validate your comment
Lol "I'm right and if you try to argue to the contrary, then you have to be lying!"
lol if say he's not throwing it well and you're watching you're lying. No weapons, zero, until Adams got there.
Lol except for Garrett Wilson and his hand-selected buddy in Allen Lazard, and Breece Hall. No weapons at all.
And setting aside the fact that he's cooked, he's also a headcase. You do not bring a guy like that into the locker room, and you certainly don't let him be the leader of your team.
Lazard lol, Hall over freakin' rated, Wilson is a #2
There's enough leaders on this team. Kyle, Kittle, Warner, Williams etc
Lol again, Rodgers selected Lazard. Hall is a good player, regardless of whether or not you think he's overrated. And almost every team in the NFL—including the 49ers—would kill for Wilson.
Also, lol, "there's enough leaders on this team." How often have we heard that about headcases? And how often do things work out? Every person with a pulse knew that Rodgers would tear the Jets apart despite them giving him everything he wanted.

We are 27-15 over the last 2.5 years with Purdy starting. 4 of the wins were playoff games.

Me? s**t, don't want to start sounding like NY.
Don't worry. You have no chance in hell sounding like NY
It's all good, he loves the Niners. That's all I care about, he one of us.
Harsh comment by me, but NY supports all his posts with either stats or his thinking process, which I appreciate. Others, not you, just want to get in a pissing match. All good as you say
It's all good

Lol....come on. The hypocrisy in your stance on contracts is brutal.
Literally zero hypocrisy. Do the same thing we did with BA. You want your cash go see what you're worth. I got no problem if players hold out. You had a hissy fit over it. They ALL want to get paid as much money as possible, SO let the market dictate the worth.
Not sure how much more simpler I can make that for you to get.
I do take hissy fits about hold outs. No respect for that b******t.
If Brock holds out or plays hard ball he will get market value. It's not just what other teams are willing to pay.....the threat of a hold out brings other circumstances to the table.
Again, so do what SF did with BA, go see if someone else is gonna pay you $250M…if there isn't a single person that's willing to pay you that much cash, then clearly you're not worth that much money. It's as simple as that.
I have no problem with a player holding out for more cash…the market will help decide if you're worth it.

Has anyone done that with a high rated player?

We just did it with BA, Ravens did it with Lamar.
Dak was coming off a 4,500 36/9 season (and had multiple seasons like that). Brock is coming off 3,800 20/12. It's a weird/unique situation with Brock.

I dnt see Rodgers ever being a back up, too proud for that I think. Will just retire likely.

Does anyone trust him when it's all on him to come from behind.
3 weeks in a row he has thrown a game deciding INT at the end of the game
Did you just start watching 49er football this season?
#49ers Brock Purdy when down 1-8 points in 4th quarter or OT in regular season or playoffs:

41 for 72 for 502 yards, 3 TDs, 7 INTs, 52.9 passer rating

Horror numbers for Brock Purdy which tells the total story not only for him but also Kyle.
