I'm wondering if there's a stat for OCs/ HC who have lost multiple Super Bowls to come back and win. I just know of Andy Reid, now he's being handed wins.

Agreed.

Papa Shanahan (Rat Sr) was one. This one is harder to research quickly though.

To add to my last post, I wouldn't be worried about the infrequency of something like this in the past if Joe Burrow was the QB as an example.

Brock didn't win us the game either.

2 interceptions in the 4th quarter were a horror show.

Kyle could have run the ball and controlled the game. He likes a shootout. Just like this last game against the Lions, what did he do call 4 runs in the second half? Teams stack the pass and jump routes with the extra backs.

Still Brock could have simply not thrown those passes straight to Lions defeners.

And its not the first time that Brock has done it in a game.

In trying to lead us back in 4th quarters, Brock Purdy is more Hannah Montana than Joe Montana.

Unless it's playoffs

If you are a QB worth $60 Million you shouldn't have to depend on a run game. What happens when you are trailing by a TD with under 2 minutes to play with no timeouts? You are not going to be running the ball at all. Maybe this was Kyle testing him. And those picks had nothing to do with the defense knowing it was going to be a pass. He had Pearsall wide open and plenty of protection and overthrew him by 5 feet. Then the 2nd pick he just made up his mind pre-snap on where he was throwing the ball and didn't pay attention to the coverage. That 2nd pick was very Jimmy G like.

if we ran the ball, then you got the same people complaining why aren't we passing since we were doing great in the passing game

It was towards the bottom of his post. He didn't want those players included.

For me though there isn't a huge difference, and I just don't put a ton of weight into things like this anyway.

I agree, and every situation is different. Can't really compare one to the other.

Lol 377 yards 3 tds 116 passer rtg. What an Art the Clown-like horror show for Brock Purdy cause of those two ints.

The real horror show? Moody Two missed fgs, extra pt and what the hell was that onside kick?

Not to mention..defense was ass for the most part..even with Bosa doing as well as he did. Sorensen can't be creative. Hit the road, jack 🎶
Can't win games with a defense that weak and predictable. Rush four ..repeat repeat..no disguises..no blitzes..nothing. Gunna call him Vanilla Ice...Wilks was better..I mean..if you are gunna fire Wilks..get a good replacement for crying out loud. We get this doof lol.

Brock's three passing touchdowns and 116.0 passer rating gave him the most games with two or more passing touchdowns and a passer rating of at least 115.0 in a quarterback's first three seasons in NFL history with 15, passing Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes, who recorded 14 such games.

Most Games with 350+ passing yrds, franchise history:

| Rank | Player | Games
| 1. | QB Joe Montana | 16
| 2. | QB Steve Young | 10
| 3. | QB Brock Purdy | 4
| 4. | QB Jeff Garcia | 3
| 5t. | QB Jimmy Garoppolo | 2
| | QB Colin Kaepernick | 2

But he doesn't deserve to be paid

Exciting offseason, Montana. Can't wait to get it going. Get, Dirty signed; get an Edge, DL or OL with our first pick to address or concerns; and get our hurt players back. Then, we'll be cooking to get back at Mahomes' ass and get it.
