I can see Allen as the best QB - Mahomes is obviously great, but the media/pundits go too far in praise + the league has made him the face so the narrative/agenda of the league is quite apparent.

Lamar is the wild card for me. I put him in that top 5 but having Henry really does wonders for his game. His stats this year are nonsense, but I still have questions about him as a straight drop-back passer, and the playoffs have been his achilles.

All of them are incredible. Would expect their teams will break through eventually… outside of Mahomes obviously, lol.

nobody is saying they are worse than Brock Purdy so stop putting words in other people's mouths like you always do. Damn so pathetic. People are just saying that they have not overcome their deficiencies, especially in the playoffs. One could easily argue that Brock Purdy has performed much better than Burrow and Herbert in the playoffs but is NOT a better qb.

I've tried that before, it's a waste of time but I keep trying and he definitely tries calling out so many other members on this form that's why he gets in so many arguments and personal attacks to others. The common denominator is him. I thought you could see that but it's OK. It's very easy for me to see. Anyways, back to football.

Hope we give Brock what he deserves which imo is Tua, Love, Goff type of a contract/money, if it's less that's great for us

I can see the argument that he's better than Brock but he's really just played like Alex did in 2011. Has only 3 picks because the Chargers have a mediocre passing offense in general. It's just don't make a mistake and the defense will win it. Like 2011.

Herbert in Detroit or Minnesota is likely a top 5 QB. But he won't reach that level until he gets a real offensive mind behind him.

The problem with this logic is that we've seen Herbert drop 5000 yards and nearly 40 TD's. Alex Smith was never that type of QB, even with a loaded KC team. What Herbert has to work with on the Chargers today is quite inferior to what Smith had to work with in 2011 in SF - and their peak outputs basically prove that.

That you admit that you need to see Herbert on 'Detroit or Minnesota' and you think he'd be a top 5 QB says enough. I know he's that good without all that kind of talent around him. It's the classic Elway situation in the 1980's.
