Aiyuk was dogs**t for the most part, 1 game over 50 yards out of 7 played. That's what disappointed me.

We have so many problems that Purdy isn't even in our your 10 issues.

Ah okay, I mean I do value his opinion big time. I'm not NC who thinks it's Thorn and no one else lol.

I believe he had SF "ranked" below avg at the end of the year and that he gave them a bump because of Kyle's scheme & how it benefits lineman.

Not a single person was saying Brendel or really any lineman not named Trent played well last yr overall.

He clearly wasn't in shape or on the same page with Brock. I mean most guys that get massive deals and hold out here don't really have that pro-bowl season right after.

The weakest link by the end of 2023 was Mck. Bren wasn't nearly as bad last year compared to this year.

I'm just stating to lump these two O lines as their isn't a difference between the two isn't correct

OL was bad both years

Everything was clicking around the OL last year though. OL being bad last year doesn't mean they weren't a major problem this year

If a player has any sort of leverage they will use it to get more cash. Most players get one real shot to make that money and I don't blame them for trying to get whatever after an amazing season.

If Brock played like he did in 2023 this yr he would have a ton of leverage all the same.

To answer your question, yes... the team should have to pay them if they cut them. That should absolutely cut both ways. I wonder how long it will be before they kill this league with the outrageous prices while trying to put more commercials into things like redzone. The seats are mostly empty on Sundays and the average fan is getting older with young people only watching fantasy style while the nfl goes off the regional lock bs. Those businesses decisions by front offices off the field and players on it will eventually catch up.

using someone that's regarded as super knowledgeable on everything OL, isn't a bad thing…not sure why you're trying to make that a thing.

Show me the proof that Brendel was better last yr. Thorn had that OL ranked "below avg" (his words) and he had it that high because of Kyle's scheme and TW being the goat. Brendel sucked last yr. Everyone and their mother was screaming for a new center in the offseason…you gonna pretend that wasn't a thing?
