Who says he thought Brock was a better prospect than Mac?

Kyle would have been put off by Brock's ad-libs in college as well. He'd see Mac plays purely from the pocket and prefer that.

That said, I can't hold your hand through this any longer. The easiest way I could put this, as it's seemingly so difficult for you, is you have no idea what happens at the QB position for SF if we don't sign JG. Expecting the QBs in 2019 to be one of Beathard or Mullens is foolish, as they were clear backups for a team that had a QB1 (JG).

I have plenty of idea, because I actually know how Kyle thinks. It's not hard to figure out how coaches think when you actually pay attention.

Also, Kyle literally told people in the building he thought he could win a Super Bowl with Mullens back in 2020 when he was pissed at Jimmy.

This so stupid lmao. What was your previous account name? I really want to know

What exactly do you think any convincing argument consisted of?

I would imagine it involved some appealing to Kyle's ego.

"Boy, I tell ya, he has a heckuva lot of potential, doesn't he? Imagine him in your brilliant offensive scheme. You could mold him into anything you want him to be, Kyle. This kid is a heckuva young player and a heckuva kid. Did I mention he's an honors student?"

Because he ran a pro style offense and clearly processed the game better than Mac ever did at Bama where he was clearly carried by the talent surround him.

Your argument is Kyle likes the runs the offense skillset. Brock showed that in spades. No one is gonna grade down ad libbing in favor of a guy who does little to nothing outside of structure.

Kyle doesn't like reckless. That Jacksoncille throw you mentioned was absolutely reckless. But I don't buy Kyle wants zero individual playmaking ability.

Like I said, please keep going, lol.

The guys who believed, mistakingly, that he had high level physical traits convinced the guy making the pick to draft him using those ideas as the crux of their argument.

No, the crux of their argument was that he's, as Steve Young said, "fantastically raw," and that Kyle, being this genius, could mold him into the QB he wants for his system.

Kyle bought into the idea that some kid who didn't know any better would be perfect for him to get exactly the QB he wants.

And what makes him 'fantastically raw' and not just 'raw' are those traits that they believed he had.

You have said yourself multiple times now they mistakingly believed he had those traits. Even included a story about a lie around his 40 time.

Yet now you are going to contradict yourself again and pretend people who believe this didn't use it in an argument to convince Kyle to draft him.

You can stop embarrassing yourself at any time here. From unprovable hypotheticals to the endless double talking, it's tiresome.

You aren't very good at reading comprehension.

They may have used it in the argument, but that's not what convinced Kyle. It's what convinced them, but not what convinced Kyle.

What convinced Kyle was the part where they appealed to his ego about developing somebody who is "raw." Kyle liked the idea of not having somebody who would tell him to f**k off, as Jimmy did. The problem is Trey isn't good enough at any of the stuff he needs to be good at for that to work, hence he has moved to Brock for that role. Brock listens to Kyle and does exactly what Jimmy told Steve Young Kyle was always telling him: Take the deep shot no matter what.
So in one thread we have people saying Kyle blew Superbowls for being too conservative and here Kyle is telling his QB to take deep shots no matter what.

Hard to keep track of all the unprovable narratives.

so much spinning they don't know what to say.. Kyle ruffled up some feathers by not doing what the experts said he would do

I'll go with what Jimmy says.

Lol, I bet you believe that. I'll let others judge for themselves.

It's hilarious to try and watch you dance around the obvious. He liked him because he was 'raw' and it was somebody he could develop… but let's pretend Kyle didn't believe he was worth developing in large part because of the traits most people felt he had (mistakingly), including the people who convinced him.

Maybe there's an idiot out there who will buy this. I'm sure the rest will see this for what it is… total horses**t.

If it's the case that Kyle was into those supposed physical traits of his, you must at least admit that he doesn't actually have those traits...right?

Because, after all, Kyle gave up on him quickly. Why would he give up on him quickly if he has elite physical traits, as advertised, if he picked him for that very reason?

100 percent I agree he didn't, and I said that to you very clearly a few posts back.

I also could see Kyle giving up on him from a mile away. Again, I argued about it endlessly here as it was happening.

Brock is coached in a different way

How does going through your progressions and letting that dictate where you go with the ball and feeding TE George Kittle when he's having an All-Pro season?

"Yeah, I think just how we scheme it up and everything, for me I trust in the game plan. I trust in our guys to go and make plays. I just try to take what the defense gives me. I don't walk up to the line of scrimmage in a play and go, I'm going to go here, here, here just because.
