QB Brock Purdy Thread

You prefer measurables if you're going to pay top money to a QB. That's fine, make that argument. Just don't insert BS about YPA not mattering because you can throw short passes and have a high YPA. While that is true, it does not apply to Brock; so why bring it up?

No you said so, lol. And I have enough experience with you to know you barely understand what you read and this is another obvious example.

You're doing it again here by pretending I don't like Brock. I do. I'm hesitant about paying him after this season and would like to see another year first. And again, by claiming I said YPA doesn't matter, when I actually am saying YPA is more useful as a team stat.

Your ability to interpret plain English is terrible.
Uh Oh….Brock just scrubbed his Social Media

Also incorrect. PFF clearly states that deep ball passing is "balls that travel 20 yards or more." So no, you can't throw short for a 25 yard gain because of YAC and get credit for a "deep pass."

Another example of you failing to read.

The numbers in the link you just provided from
fantasypros is what I'm talking about. The 10+, 20+, 30+ etc etc yard throws include YAC. Woo posted the very same link and cited those numbers in addition to AirY/A (which don't include YAC).

If multiple people are coming away with the same interpretation of your posts, perhaps it's you.

You like Brock, but think he should play the final year of his rookie deal that has insanely underpaid him for his performance thus. Okay, dude.

Seriously? Not this s**t again. What happened to him saying he don't want any drama and all that stuff he said lol

It's not multiple people. It's you, lol.

Did you see Wallace say he wasn't saying someone made that argument? Woo didn't even post links in response to me. I responded to the links. Try actually reading.

As for the bolded, that's correct, I'm a fan of the 49ers, not Brock Purdy's wallet. Even if I agree he was severely underpaid, my answer isn't to potentially overpay him now.

No way if i'm Brock that I step on any football field without a new deal. To risky for an injury to happen.

This is exactly right for every player in the NFL besides fringe/scrub players or guys who are fighting to make a roster. Certainly not starting QB's who are young and have had tremendous success to start their careers.
Justin Herbert might've just made Purdy's check bigger?
