So we have Purdy, Tua, and Darnold. Uhmmm,...maybe we might wanna stop trying to let this stat stand on its own like it's some big accomplishment then? Are you all not realizing this?

…but Herbert is so big and has a cannon!
I dunno that anyone's suggested success due to being big and having a cannon.
I also dont know if it excuses our QB's relatively-short stature, hands, and 29 inch arms.

Are there a list of teams that would willingly go hard after him after this season?

First of all, even if he did, this is about as nothing as nothing can get.
Secondly, no he didn't. I'm looking at it right now.

Brock's under contract for another year. Even after playing a year (whether that be in 2025 or in 2026 after "protesting" ?), he can be franchised the following season.
Brock is going nowhere.

That's exactly what I thought.
Lol yep.
Because they will want to dump their former 6th overall pick for our guy? I dont get the linkage.
Supply and Demand is what will get Purdy his money,...not us feeling sorry for other teams elsewhere that have bad contracts, or feeling sorry for Brock that the 2011 CBA rules put low-round draft picks like him on unfavorable pay scales.

If the Niners don't pay Purdy, another team will, you can be sure about that.
Looking at the QBs in the draft, the FA market, you can be sure that someone will give Purdy 50 millions to play with them.
He was a MVP candidate last season, a pro bowler, should have been a second team All Pro, would have won the Superbowl if his Special Teams weren't horrendous, still played at a high level this season even with all the problems the Niners had. He's only 25. He's a good scrambler. He showed that he can win in the PO and make comebacks.
Yeah, he's gonna be paid and the Niners'd better sign him early.
Besides, where's the upgrade exactly?
I mean, sure if Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow or Lamar Jackson are available, go for it but I'm pretty sure it's not the case.
