This is exactly right for every player in the NFL besides fringe/scrub players or guys who are fighting to make a roster. Certainly not starting QB's who are young and have had tremendous success to start their careers.

Herbert 14/32 1td 4ints
Stround 22/33 1td 1int

Brock Playoff stats 107/171 6td 1int

His stats are really 0/0 0TD 0int.

No its not.

He's not playing in these playoffs, so yes it is.

Lol yea. Really weird that he cant see his gaffe here. Why throw up numbers and nothing else?

I can see what he's saying he's just f**king around so I am I.

random out here being random.

Secondly, no he didn't. I'm looking at it right now.

lol it's not as nothing as nothing could get. It would be wildly out of character for him and signify major malcontent.

glad it didn't happen 🤣

No gaffe for me I know what I've seen . We just don't see it the same. John and Kyle have seen it too and Brock will get paid.

Uhm,...putting 2025 playoff stats in with someone else's career playoff stats?

Do the other 2 QBs you listed not have career playoff stats too?

Justin Herbert 39/75 515yds 2TD's 4ints
Stroud 57/87 731yds 4TD's 1int
Those are career. I'm still in the Brock camp.

But if I were to choose between the other two it would be CJ.

Herbert had 2 INTs yesterday that were in the receivers hands and then bounced up into the air. INTs lower the passer rating considerably. It's one reason I don't like the PR stat because it can reflect on the QB even when it's not his fault. On the other hand the QB can get credit for 50 passing yards on a screen pass where the receiver does all the work. Passer rating is a bogus stat.

You give him those completions and he completes 50%. His rating was also saved by that Mcconkey play. Made his YPA look good and gave him a td. So he deserved to have those bounces not go his way on the ints. He played that bad

That's our QB #1

And he was absolutely CLUTCH in the GB playoff game without Deebo, making throws to JJ and Conley while also running.

He was more than CLUTCH in the Det game taking over, with his legs and anticipation throws.

People are still in denial about how good he has been WITHOUT some of his best players and under constant pressure (against Dallas) in the playoffs like Deebo.

Would be awesome for all of these numbers thrown around to be put in context like you just did,...lol.

They want these limited numbers over and over to stand on their own and "make" an argument. The truth is,...you have to watch the games.

Very overrated. I still think his rookie year was his best one, he ran a lot more and made a lot more plays outside of the pocket. He definitely chokes in the playoffs much like some of these other quarterbacks that people think are top five to top 10.

When all is said and done there will be some that will be upset with the deal either way it goes. I think you pay the man and go on, he's done enough to merrit a 45 to 50 million or so contract. JMO

He's gonna be paid that's for sure. If the Niners don't pay him, another team will.
It's really a no brainer for the Niners.
Now 45-50 millions would be better than 60 for the Salary Cap, I won't lie.
Will Purdy get a fully guarunteed deal or will there be outs for the team?

What do you all think? How should our F/O structure his deal?

Its funny you didn't mention context for the Herbert 86 yard touchdown that was basically all Mcconkey and heavily inflated his passer rating either.

Anyone who watched the game knows that Herbert was absolutely abysmal in this game.
