He means in the first year of his deal. He is right.

Based on his posting history, I wouldnt be so sure.

Can't wait to see the S show next season will be when 55-60 million dollar Brock is mid level or worse. Think this seasons Brock talk was bad?

Who would you rather have?

Brock was elite in 2023.
Is Brock just a game manager like many think.

There are some concerns about Brock that are worth discussing, but this one is absolutely absurd. How can anyone suggest that he's only a game manager when he was 1st in the league last year in air yards per attempt and 2nd this year? He's also ELITE at making plays outside of structure with tremendous scrambling ability.

No he doesn't; he meant average a year. Go look through his posts on previous pages

Aiyuk has now dropped two of Brock Purdy's possibly best plays/throws in his career.

If Brock insists on 50-60 million, Darnold will be the better game manager at 10 million. We can sign 2 elite pass rushers with the extra money. Maybe bring in Joey Bosa from the Chargers.

Defense wins championships!

Yes, how else could we spend $50 million other than Brock to help the team?

If our goal is to be like the Chargers and the Packers, yes.

What other option is there? To be like a non-playoff team?

Wait a min... we're a playoff team?

Most often, yes. Too many injuries this year.
The Chargers and Packers were playoff teams this year.

Should the 49ers move on from Brock or sign him to a contract like the Chargers and Packers did with their FQBs?

We're not a playoff team. Find a new angle.

Interesting

What is? Being dumb enough to think Darnold is only getting 10 or dumb enough thinking he's a better option at any cost to Purdy.

Every quarterback is a game manager.

Filling up the thread with emoji replies and nothing else over and over is interesting.
