Acting like every weak armed QB is Joe Montana is dumb. Joe had a better arm, bigger hands was taller and more accurate.
it's not criticism it's facts of the situation. Also not all cannon armed 6-4 230 b QBs are Dan Marino either

Purdy was making a lot of tight window throws in 2022 and 2023 and it's why everyone was loving this kid. Not sure how accurate that opinion is

no s**t you get paid to make plays. In a league where you're playing against the biggest and fastest athletes in the world, more often than not you have to be big and fast all the same. It's not rocket science man. There's a reason there's thresholds for position groups and why there isn't many 5-10 NBA players. That's the reality of professional sports

So what…should we draft a 200lb OT who's got 31" arms because he can process fast? Maybe a 180lb LBer who 5-10 that can process quickly?
why are the majority of early picks at QB strong armed bigger people? Oh I don't know because it's the freaking NFL. People are big and fast. Shocking on know.
lance's biggest problem was he simply didn't play enough football and still hasn't. Brock played a f**k ton of football and showed he could come in and play right away. The way our team was setup Brock fit the bill at that pt and time. Good on him to take advantage of everything. Awesome story for sure.
How much more can he improve? That's the debate. How much does he need around him to be successful? That's the debate.

if push comes to shove, tell brock and his agent to find the 60m aav deal they are seeking. i doubt they find that from any team. i view this as more about what is the league willing to pay this man. not so much about his peers. most of his peers are round 1 guys with those high end tools GMs like. we can say those tools don't matter, but we know that's what GMs are looking for and prize. teams would rather draft a QB on the rook contract than give up a pick then pay brock $60m. no team wants to do that.

Yet other QBs who had s**t OLs (worse than ours) or didn't have pro-bowl play makers around him did more. Again the question isn't does Brock suck. We know he doesn't. The question is how much MORE does he need compared to other highly paid QBs to have a successful season?
