They had to come out and say Brock is our guy because his confidence was shot. Each day now that passes with Brock not being offered an extension all parties know Brock is still under contract and really does not deserve anything for his below average play which resulted in last place.

Yeah, the team was a shell of itself and he tried to go outside himself. What can you do? Time to stop rehashing this crap of a season and look toward next season. All this crap about not deserving extensions and s**t is really becoming nauseating.

Yet other QBs who had s**t OLs (worse than ours) or didn't have pro-bowl play makers around him did more. Again the question isn't does Brock suck. We know he doesn't. The question is how much MORE does he need compared to other highly paid QBs to have a successful season?

The defense was to blame for a number of our loses, not Brock.

I mean if SF says go find that Dak contract and not one team shows up then what?

If no one is willing to give you that kind of cash…you don't get that cash lol

Everyone complains about Brocks arm. Well, there was a guy here with an average arm that delivered us 3 Super Bowls, by the name of Joe Montana. So, this criticism of him doesn't fly with me.

Three Superbowls huh?

No, you know it. I said a number of them, not all.

This post is taken directly from 2021.

Like I said, you guys should just stop replying to this poster. He is the most hypocritical poster on this board. His "analysis" is completely dependent on which QB you are speaking about.

Dude had one of the worst passing ratings in the league this yr in the 4QR when tied or losing. Multiple game ended INTs when the game wasn't close to over.

it wasn't all him, but acting like he played no part in this bad season is not getting s**t real.

Never said he didn't play a part in it. Just minimizing him because of this season is an overreaction.

Maybe AB can chime in, but I was always under the impression that players who are under contract are prohibited from negotiating with other teams. Please correct me if I am wrong, but based on my understanding of NFL contracts, you are suggesting Brock do something that isnt allowed. Therefore, its an unrealistic/stupid position to take. Brock isnt a free agent.
