The suggestion isn't to not pay Purdy and let him go.

You guys saying Fields and Mac Jones are as good as Purdy are nuts.

Look what Peyton did with Bo Nix mobility and cannon arm. Kyle should be able to do the same with any of the above. Look how much Kyle accomplished with all of Purdy limitations.
FA is Kyle's oyster. Just choose any of the above and add #6 to the trophy case already
Throw in Cousins too.

We didn't dangle BA to other teams to check out his value. We gave our final offer and he wanted the trade. In the end we still paid more
lamar wasn't dangled out there so the ravens can get a price for Lamar, they tagged him because he wanted a trade and didn't receive any offers
there's no way they attempt to do any of that, unless the 49ers are fine with actually losing Brock
We most certainly did lol and the only reason we paid "more" is because the market dictated he was in demand and worth it.
They did NOT have to give him the nonexclusive tag.
they don't have to do anything. He's under contract for another yr. That's the only difference

BA was trying to get paid top WR money, reset the market. If Purdy demands that then sure I'd be with you to say "go find it." If he's demanding $65M per season and having his fiancé tweet stupid s**t about the team, then sure, I'm with you guys.
But you're wanting to offer Purdy mid-level money, and not even thinking that he's worth $50m+ the same as Love, Herbert, Tua, etc. That's the issue we're all having with your argument. It's simply not based in reality. It's like you guys think you're playing Madden and you're totally ignoring the human element of this process.

Film.
Very Subjective.

Not just as good, but better. They haven't had a HC like Kyle that can maximize their cannon arm.
*Except Mac Jones

in 2023
Goff 4,600 30TD 12INTs
Love 4,200 32TDs 11 INTs
Tua had 4,600 29TDs 14 INTs
Lamar 4,200 41TDs 4 INTs
Dak had 4,500 yards 36TDs and 9INTs
Brock 4,300 yards 31TDs and 11INTs
Love deal sounds about right after this season

Of course they're better. They're taller and can throw farther. Bigger hands. All that. You know, the stuff that wins championships. Take that $60M and instead of giving it to Purdy, split it up equally amongst Fields, Trey, Jones, etc. That QB room would be DEEP. Whoever has the best training camp starts. The rest keep competing for the backup spot. We'll have each of them play 3-4 games to showcase themselves, and build their value. It won't matter who the QB is because Kyle makes every QB a star.
By season's end we can trade all of them for 1st round picks, and then start over with next season's group of free agent QB's. We'll be like a junior college who manufactures D1 scholarships, except with us we'll stockpile picks. Super Bowl wins in the process because it doesn't matter who the QB is. Use the 1st round picks to draft nothing but all pros at every position. We'll never have to pay anyone top dollar (they're not worth that anyway). I mean they're used to playing in college and getting a little bit of NIL money, so anything we give them will make them rich. Shoot, the average fan only makes $50k or so a year, so they should feel lucky to even make league minimum.
Am I doing this right?

To give you an idea, Laken Tomlinson's contract with the Jets was $12 million per year.
Who gives a s**t?
Remember, it'll be worth even less as inflation continues.
