Now we're talking about individual season cap hits, rather than average per year value of the contract? Pick an angle.

Of course they're better. They're taller and can throw farther. Bigger hands. All that. You know, the stuff that wins championships. Take that $60M and instead of giving it to Purdy, split it up equally amongst Fields, Trey, Jones, etc. That QB room would be DEEP. Whoever has the best training camp starts. The rest keep competing for the backup spot. We'll have each of them play 3-4 games to showcase themselves, and build their value. It won't matter who the QB is because Kyle makes every QB a star.
By season's end we can trade all of them for 1st round picks, and then start over with next season's group of free agent QB's. We'll be like a junior college who manufactures D1 scholarships, except with us we'll stockpile picks. Super Bowl wins in the process because it doesn't matter who the QB is. Use the 1st round picks to draft nothing but all pros at every position. We'll never have to pay anyone top dollar (they're not worth that anyway). I mean they're used to playing in college and getting a little bit of NIL money, so anything we give them will make them rich. Shoot, the average fan only makes $50k or so a year, so they should feel lucky to even make league minimum.
Am I doing this right?
Of course you aren't. You are failing to recognize a joke/sarcasm, which was really born from not understanding the counterarguments in the first place.

I didn't say he has no leverage. Nice quotes though.

Look what Peyton did with Bo Nix mobility and cannon arm. Kyle should be able to do the same with any of the above. Look how much Kyle accomplished with all of Purdy limitations.
FA is Kyle's oyster. Just choose any of the above and add #6 to the trophy case already
Throw in Cousins too.
Cousins would be a bridge to nowhere.
You guys saying Fields and Mac Jones are as good as Purdy are nuts.
Not just as good, but better. They haven't had a HC like Kyle that can maximize their cannon arm.
*Except Mac Jones

5-years, $305M. $61M per year. 👀

That's @LombardiHimself's projection for Brock Purdy's extension with the 49ers.

Best solution provided yet. We need to email this to Kyle and John. So that they don't get suckered into paying Purdy's limited ass. And we can all stop arguing about Purdy.
