Dak's cap hit is $90m in 2025

Sweet. He's not playing on that lol

Except NY suggests it if and only if Brock wants a top tier deal, ie there's an impasse in negotiations.

He has flat out stated if Brock were to take Love like deal, he'd support it.

Not a single person has suggested to just let him test the market outright. The first thing any team would do is offer a contract favorable to the team. This goes without saying, or at least should*

this is why it's hard to be an optimist, we can't win when he's making 900k, roster getting older, and now he's going for 200-300m.

Let's see what the team does first. We are notorious for being tough in negotiations, for better or worse.

Brady couldn't win with an undefeated team. I guess they were screwed too

Yep regressing every year since his 1SB

it's a linear line graph.

Brady lost on an undefeated team. Can you explain that?

He probably won't regress every year.

yeah its football. the ball is oblong, and that happens from time to time. that's why they play the games, as Chris Berman would say.

and you want to act like the pats were screwed during the brady era.

No he's not, he's telling us that should be the first step.

and if he's happy with Brock getting Love's contract, why all this fuss for a 5m difference between Dak's "60" and Love's "55" ?

It is an irrelevant graph.

Yep. Can't argue with that sample size and it's independence from outside factors.

No, he's not. He has post after post demonstrating that, and they also answer your second question. It's not about the AAV.
