Straight up? HELL NO
This draft kinda stinks at QB. I wouldn't. I don't imagine the titans would offer that either.

If they did they would be laughed at for months in the media.

Dude, you can like a player and understand there's limitations. This is why there's so much disconnect in here. It doesn't have to be like or dislike. There's a whole other area…it's not just black or white. Just isn't.
IMO football is a big person sport. You have some of the most athletically gifted rocked up athletes in the world playing it. There's freaking 260lb DL running a 4.4 now.
there's only 32 starting spots in the world to play QB at this level. One of the main attributes is obviously throwing the football. Much like other positions there are thresholds for everything. We got some outliers, but those don't make up the majority of successful players.
IMO (like Smokey) Brock does a some things very well. It's the processing, anticipation and the ability to move and create behind the LOS. That is amazing stuff and why he's a good QB.
He does have limitations, and by limitations I mean things that he can't really improve upon. His size, from a measurable standpoint is barebones bottom of the league. That includes his hands. People trying using Brees with Brock, but Drew had some of the biggest hands in football. Dude could spin it. Brock is top 10 in batted balls at the LOS, not all are on him but some of it is because of size. We got weather issues on top of that. His arm is very much bottom of the league among starting caliber QBs. Just is. He's ranked 28th the past two seasons in tight window passes. That is absolutely part of not having a plus arm.
now let's talk about the intangibles. Dude has this is spades. He's smart, he's a leader, he puts in all the work you want your QB to do. I think he's pretty damn tough. He can stand in the pocket and deliver a pass while getting crushed. He's not a Darnold like QB who "sees ghosts", he very much can dust it off and go to the next play. I also haven't seen much as far as the clutch factor goes. I think he has 4 4th QR come from behind games. Two in the playoffs, mostly using his legs there. It wasn't good in the 4th QR this yr. Personally I would like to see more of that. More of putting the team on his back. He's still young there and can grow from that standpoint.
I say all that showing you there's things to like and think that make you pause. End of the day he's currently our best option and is still young. He's gonna get paid, I like others hope they have it setup to where they can have outs if things go south. No one wants that because we all want that FQB for a while. We should always be on the lookout for a QB just in case…much like any position.

I think some of us are saying that would not be the case with Brock. Some posters have said if he wants to be the highest paid player in football, say no thanks you can play out your rookie deal and we can renegotiate after that.
Theres are all just scenarios, not saying they're likely at all.

you doing laugh emojis on the WZ? it's a bit of a stretch to refer to that as being laughed at 'in the media'

Of course they do. The intel is the contracts of comparable players.

You don't remember when Payton Manning and Tom Brady received all those offers from other every time they signed a contract?

And I think you guys are underestimating a few things.
1. There are a lot of teams who run a variation of Kyle's offense or would like to.
2. That NFL teams care more about winning, especially in the playoffs than fans care about being able to say "we have an elite QB"
Brock is a proven QB in the NFL, certainly a lot more than Jimmy G and Kap were when they got paid.
When you have way less proven QBs getting paid I think teams would definitely open up the wallet for Brock.
Jets, Browns, Raiders, Giants have clear QB needs. All it takes is them thinking they'd rather go with a proven guy over unknowns in the draft. No different than the thought process Shanahan had in 2017.
You also have teams who may not be thrilled with the guys they have - Colts, Steelers, Saints.
Obviously there is a difference between Brady/Manning in their prime but there is still leverage there. Now the 49ers don't have to pay Brock but it would be a really bad look not to reward him for his play given what he's done for them.
