No. There's no need for judgement right now, as he's under contract. We can "take it easy," as I'm sure Shanahan and Lynch aren't ready to risk their careers with a bad deal. They want to stick around, so they'll wanna see more too if there's no getting around $50M+ cap hits in multiple years.
I didnt judge him solely based on team performance. I'm one of the main posters here that speak out against such stuff. I actually watched him play, and it was a mixed bag, with alot to be desired late in games.

I don't think he sucked, tho. The context of the entire discussion is oncoming need for a new deal,...not some standard that he didn't meet. Not even sure where you're going with that one...

Huh? You then follow that up with saying he's a franchise QB and will command high figures (cap-wise?).
If his performance continues to decline this year, I don't think his price would continue to go up anyways. Supply and Demand.
If you are convinced that his price WILL go up (
you did not say "COULD"), then you are convinced he WILL perform well, without a doubt. There's no escaping what you've already said.
At the end of the day, you are certain of the future, so you know there's little risk involved,....while I'm nowhere close to as sure as you are based on what I saw in 2024.
