QB Brock Purdy Thread

After the top 5 or 6 guys I see about 10 that are all good enough in the right situation but aren't true franchise QBs. All could be replaced if necessary.

We've discussed Brock's pros and cons many times. He has all ther intangible stuff that isn't measured at the combine. He just doesn't have all the physical stuff. That's what keeps him out of the top tier for most people.

The fact that faithful6 thinks Jimmy is better than Brock means Brock can never be top tier? Are you serious?

i think with shanny you want a dual threat QB a QB who can be a part of the kyle run game. i'd look for someone along those lines, not our prior QBs. we haven't been getting the right skill set for this O. put a dynamic QB in a kyle system next to a healthy CMC. that's the ticket.
I have no idea how anyone can realistically want Jalen hurts on this team.

I'd probably think the same way if I thought sb champion qbs rushed for 10 tds. Thankfully I live in reality

One of the best deep ball passers in 2023.

What happened this yr?

Hurts has the best OL in football, the best RB in football, tremendous receivers and tight ends and still looks like crap half the time yet you never hear any "Hurts and the Avengers" comments.

You definitely do though, especially from their own fans.

They have everything they need to win the SB and are praying that a defense can't force them to pass the ball, lol. Prob could get a similar level of performance from Fields at near bottom of the position pricing.

Completely disagree. 2018 they didn't have multiple players making top 5 money at their positions. at that point they were flush with cap space, so they were able to front load his deal. They had young talent on cheap deals for the most part.

it's not even remotely the same situation. We got bloated expiring contract on "older" players. There's holes all over the place that just the draft can fix imo.

if you're rebuttal on why he should be the highest paid player in football is because they made Jimmy that (even though he said himself that was the wrong thing to do) I think that's a horrible take.

There's talk we may replace Brock with either Justin Fields or Jameis Winston.

If we're going by recent performance, Should Mahomes be considered elite? Nope. Hurts is a bottom 15 quarterback as well.

The voices in your head don't count.

Mahomes who is currently playing for the AFCC and seems to make plays when it matters?

instead of deflecting, how about we answer the question? What can HE do as a player to improve. I know how you feel about everything else around him and use that as the only reason why he wasn't successful this yr…so you just think he had zero blame for his own play this yr? No accountability? He was perfect and everyone else failed him?

I'm not talking about JG. I'm talking about NFL QBs and where they rank. I don't know where Purdy ranks in that 2nd tier but I don't feel he belongs in the top tier.
This thread is simply a bunch of ungrateful a*****es gloating about how unhappy they are. What a fanbase!
