I haven't forgotten. I believe that was peak Brock. I also believe defenses have caught up. Now with CMC coming back, hopefully Trent Williams, Pearsall year two, Aiyuk healthy, Deebo, maybe another draft piece, etc he will regain that form. But again Josh Allens top receiver is Shakir and Jackson was Bateman in the playoffs. They make it work. I'm thinking if we get into the playoffs down a few pieces we will fizzle out with Brock. The contract concerns me
Jackson woukd be called a choker who can't win the big one if he was in the 49ers.
Jackson performed down the stretch. TE dropped the ball. No comparison.
And Purdy had his RG blow his assignment.

People need to pick a lane.

The reverse is also true. Purdy played great in 2023 when the 49ers were one of the healthiest teams. They were absolutley loaded with offensive talent. This year we saw what a difference it made not having CMC. Every QB is going to be better with all his weapons. Purdy is just a little more dependent than some otf the better QBs.

You take away that talent and you get a year like last one - last place.

Many people on here are disturbed by my posts that I do in fact research because they break into their denial that Brock truly is just a mid tier average QB who will only succeed in this league if he has elite talent around him like McCaffrey. You take away that talent and you get a year like last one - last place.

Sure but they all need good teams around them. Not a single one of the QB's that played this weekend was playing with crap surrounding them. They all had good OL's, solid to very good defenses, run games...etc.

If we're going by recent performance, Should Mahomes be considered elite? Nope. Hurts is a bottom 15 quarterback as well.
Mahomes who is currently playing for the AFCC and seems to make plays when it matters?
instead of deflecting, how about we answer the question? What can HE do as a player to improve. I know how you feel about everything else around him and use that as the only reason why he wasn't successful this yr…so you just think he had zero blame for his own play this yr? No accountability? He was perfect and everyone else failed him?
