One of the best deep ball passers in 2023.

What happened this yr?

I mean, since a lot of posters seem to disregard the reasons as to why this could be the case, the only logical conclusion one could make is Brock just forgot how.

Oh how we wish we could go back in time (while avoiding playoff results).

It's good the 49'ers swirl names like Fields and Winston in front of Brock's face to make him nervous because he isn't going to make it on another team.

Cite a source or you're on timeout until August. You have 24 hours.

Thank you. This poster has been doing this sort of thing repeatedly.

Defenses do tend to adjust to relatively new players. That seems logical as well.

This is the type of modding needed.

If he gets TO. I doubt that happens

quite a few. i think our 2023 team, CMC was our team MVP. Barkley for this Philly team. when they signed barkley i thought wow they are getting their CMC. RBs were undervalued, and had a great year.

think of this, Saquon is $37 / 3. read that again, $37m over 3. he's the rightful MVP imo. 2k yards, and sat out a game. saquon is as good a player as there is, like a TJ Watt or Jefferson but he doesn't cost $35 or 40m a season. he's very cheap. now RBs get injured as we see in SF, but still i think paying for a CMC or Saquon is a good move.
I really think Brock's deal will be easy because the team has leverage. Either play for a million next year or not get tagged and traded and nobody outside of this club is gonna pay you $50M plus as we will. Do the Jared Goff deal and call it a day. Try to get a year three or four exit and draft a young guy to develop

lions probably sitting around wondering why they did the goff deal as we speak. QB who got outclassed by a more dynamic player. detroit had the better team, but DC had the QB playing better ball and much harder to defend.

#1: You naming CMC as our best player is EXACTLY what he was trying to avoid,...by calling him "most important."

You get it now??

If we want to talk importance, we can easily argue that the QB's the most important player on ANY NFL team.

Well I'm sure we will pay Brock going rate as he was a play away from winning the Super Bowl vs KC. He just needs to do a team friendly deal where we can build around him and help him not be cut after year three into it. If Brock wants the moon we may have to tell him to go try his luck with another club. He won't be as valued elsewhere as he is here in this system I'm willing to bet

I think we get him done on a lucrative team friendly deal early offseason

i'm not interested in what someone is trying to avoid or not. i'm just sharing my view on the team and our guys.

consider mvp voting, which is essentially a QB of the year honor at this point. CMC actually was ahead of brock in mvp. he got more of the vote. i think most ppl looking at SF last year or Philly this year, would say ok this O revolves around the RB.

It is usually the case, that's my point.
