Thank you for the article that doesnt really address anything about teams adjusting to Brock's deep ball.
brock just doesn't have much deep ball. if there's some stat about him having a good deep ball from 2023, i'd point to shanny, our avengers and scheming ppl WAO. some random stat doesn't mean you have a good deep ball. just means the team is hitting a lot of those plays. you can clearly see which QBs can sling that thing downfield well and which can't. it would be like saying steve bono is one of the great QB run threats cuz he ran for 80 yards one time so he's better than vick at running. when i watch what brock does well, yeah i don't think deep ball. not even on the list of things he does well.
LOL k.
look at the track record, you slammed JG, who was mid tier and we won, you praised lance and even after shanny traded to dallas you said no one can know if he sucks, he's an 'unknown'. no dude, he sucks. that's why shanny traded him out. brock is mid tier he's not a bad QB. i just question the wisdom of paying him 3 to 4 hundred million. and his arm is not elite downfield. do we watch the games? do we watch the super bowl? mccaffrey got no traction. why was that? with elite deep ball brock, why was the MVP level RB not getting anything on the ground? certainly the D was backed up, fearing the brock deep ball, right?
There's no way you're making these claims buddy.
Chiefs crowded the line with a much weaker defensive roster and Jimmy responded with the worst QB rating in SB 4th quarter history and couldn't get us any first downs, let alone points.
Chiefs way more talented defensive roster crowded the line and Brock responded by getting us a lead every time in the 4th quarter and OT.
And you have the balls to sit here and compare the two as equals? Want to bring up the fact that CMC fumbled on a drive we were marching down the field on? The fact that Trent Williams killed a whole drive by himself cuz of penalties? Deebo couldn't get any separation. OL was cheeks soon as Feliciano got hurt.
Never in that game did Brock look panicked despite being in his 2nd season. I can guarantee you the Chiefs not fearing our deep ball this last SB had nothing to do with Brock but the confidence in their DBs and their DL being able to get to Brock in time with the pass pro we had in place.
You're posting that chart and have no idea what it means. Shocking...
