If Brock Purdy with Arizona took them to the NFCCG as a rookie, then followed up with the season he had last year in 2023 I sure as hell wouldn't want to get extended.

I rather enjoy seeing them with the faster, stronger armed Kyler Murray who seems to always crash out towards the end of the year.

do you think brock would have taken any team to the NFCCG and SB? like NYG, Carolina or Arizona or others?

Different era. Brigham Young was an extremely QB friendly scheme, but the draft was a different process back then. There wasn't even a national combine in 1984.

Young had big numbers in that QB friendly system and the Bengals had the top pick in the draft, coached by Bill Walsh's original protege, Sam Wyche. Wyche, though, was about as downfield a play caller as you'll ever see.

Teams didn't do as much research or nitpicking on prospects back then.

NFL defenses adapt. What Brock did in 2022 or 2023 is immaterial in 2025. He needs to get better because defenses figured out how to play 2022 Brock.

In the NFL is about how long can a good team stay the most healthy. We failed that part before the season even started
