QB Brock Purdy Thread

Teams and fans are slways in a rush to proclaim their QB is the franchise. We're seeing it now with Daniels in Washington. One year doesn't make a HOF QB. Every QB in the league has had a good game on occasion. Several had good first seasons and even decent 2nd seasons. Doing it over a period of time requires more than just a little luck. Eventually every QB will face years when things don't go right. Injuries pile up. Maybe the team gets off to a bad start. The coach gets fired or retires. Then we see how good he really is.

Last year was only year 3. Top 10 as a 24 year old on a last place team. Sounds pretty good to me

There were multiple metrics like qbr and epa that have him top 10. We don't do that for Jennings because he isn't a top 10 receiver

he's on the receiving end of those metrics tho
