Got some real uptight, sensitive posters around here. I never talked to that guy in my life here and goes off and calls me a name. Kid s**t.

Thanks for explaining why our season was so bad by using AFC and NFC title game results.

LOL thst had nothing to do with my post.

Brock is good enough to win a SB, so is Allen, Jackson and Daniels. They all elevate their teams.

They do? Neither made it to the superbowl today....

....you literally made the post seconds after Josh Allen lost.

If KC and the Eagles lost,....you can simply change the names and say the same thing about them as well. Tell me that kind of stuff b4 the game, not right when the game ends, lol.

It's a horrible example to try to use if we're trying to explain what happened to our 2023 season. Other teams that were around 6-11 or so would be much better to compare us and Brock to,...not to the guys that just took their teams to the title games.

So Jackson doesn't and Brady only did on occasion?

Not sure the context - Didn't look back far enough.

But no jackson doesn't (as of yet)
Brady clearly did.

Jury is out on Brock but obviously he is good enough to get to the SB.

No it's relevant but no need to get emotional about it…

Yeah, at least try to act like you're out of high school.

Brock left the field in OT with the lead. I'd say that's good enough to win the SB, unfortunately it wasn't that time and the D couldn't hold... them's the breaks.

Brock lead 3 times (the last 3 drives)! Pretty damn clutch, just like vs GB and DET. Too bad we didn't have KC's D or DC or another kicker or luck recovering fumbles

Or the Special Teams could just have done their jobs and the Niners would have won the Superbowl.
But yeah, Purdy and the offense gave the defense opportunities to close the game and they couldn't do it.
It sucks.

As for Purdy, give him his money. Now you don't have to make him the highest paid QB in the league but you can give him 45 to 50 a year because ultimately if the Niners don't do it, another team will.
Watching these POs, you see that yes Purdy is not Mahomes, Josh Allen or Joe Burrow I know but damn he's really freaking good. And where's the upgrade anyway? There's no one on the FA market. Nobody is gonna trade their franchise QB. And sorry I'm not doing the draft circus again specially in this 2025 draft.

Should the chiefs asks for money back?

They were 15-2 (home-field advantage). Did you happen to watch yesterday?

If they care more about stats than results, sure.

But they have only lost 2 times this year because the dude simply does just enough to win games, time and time again.

A perfect example of why you can toss all of those stats in the garbage come playoff time (if you reached the playoffs) was displayed on the field last nite.

What shows up on game tapes should lead discussions here if we're talking ability. You can then follow that up with anecdotal stats.

Turns out these other QBs that "elevate their teams" aren't worth s**t.

Pay Purdy top dollar, if that's what he wants. There isn't a QB not named mahomes that meets the criteria this forum established as the barrier for entry to the "get paid club". Is purdy a difference maker? Probably not. Is there a single difference making QB in the league? Nope…. Still looking at a mahomes sb mvp

pay purdy what he wants
I am at the point of as long as he has the 49ers in the playoffs consistently he can make how ever much the 49ers want to pay him.
A lot of GM's up in here this morning. Did we extend him yet?

This is really all that matters.
