He's absolutely mediocre in bad weather

Sounds like you just don't like Brock much, too bad, he is staying for a while

not if we keep winning 6 games a season.

Great point...

just the stone cold reality. i think we are in trouble. the advantages of 2023 seem gone.

He was already top 10 by multiple measures on an awful team. Top half of league even looking at surface level passer rating. That's on a last place team. If that keeps up he could survive the firing of John and Kyle

It's amazing how people act like Purdy was complete dog s**t last season.

Faithful loved him some Jimmy. Here is Brock's "awful, not worth paying season" with all the injuries and regression all around him compared to Jimmy's best season.

And here is a comparison between Jimmy G getting us into the NFCCG compared to the awful season by Brock

Poor Jimmy just had Deebo in his All Pro monster year, Kittle, Aiyuk and Jennings among others.

But sure we'll pretend it was Brock that led the 49ers to only 6 wins this year while Jimmy was the main reason we won those games in those two seasons since he was so much better.

You can always join the Eagles fan base

no i am a 49er fan until the end. which could be soon, because of these 49ers. i hope we win again but i try to be a realist.

Per PFF, the OLine graded out at 13th overall, with a PBWR @ 14th overall.

ESPN had us at 14th overall at PBWR as well.

ALL of these ratings above are above average, in contrast to what you are saying.

Are you sure that everything around him was absolutely horrible?

How about you do the QB now.....

Sorry he only brings up the grades for the OL because apparently they don't need the eye test. The QB grades/stats are dumb. Eye test is all you need.

Wow was Jimmy getting carried. He had a better line and defense too. Let's just be thankful we have Brock now

in all seriousness, you really think we are currently a 6 win team in 2025 and beyond?

Says PFF states that our OL was 13th/14th, and calls it above average.

PFF had Brock 12th this year, but according to him, he isnt very good.

Make it make sense.

It doesn't. Dude has always been here to call out other posters without putting any actual thoughts of his own out there. And he's not even consistent in his call outs.

Eye test one post then player grades and it's F the eye test.

we are older and coming off injury vs 2023. so it may look more like 2024. a big help was QB1 at 900k. that going away is a big blow to the roster also.

we are trending the wrong direction. we need to see how the offseason goes to get the full measure.

Nothing wrong with having Brock ranked 12th overall. I have a hard time trying to rank QBs since there are so many factors. Obviously the physical traits but you also have to consider how good the O line is. How good are the receivers. The RBs The offensive scheme. Even the defense. Are they giving him the ball back with good field position. The QB is the most important position but it's also the most dependent on the other players around him and the style of offense he's in.

I think there are about 5-7 QBs that are physically better and are playing at a high level. That's about normal for the league. After that I see abput 10-15 guys that all are capable and play well at times. Sometimes even very well. I think Brock is in that group and I would put him in the upper end but I wouldn't cast it in stone.
