imagine.. acknowledging how much help Mahomes gets by the Refs and then act like everything is fair because other teams get a few calls lol

it's just moaning about calls at the end of the day. control what you can control. if we could land a true FQB, then we would get the calls, and no one of us would be complaining.

ok i admit you got me there. we would always find something to complain about

This may come as a surprise to you but this is a team sport. You have no problem looking at the results when virtually across the board the 49ers were worse this year than last year, including coaching. Your take is Purdy regressed and isn't worth extending.

Mahomes has terrific coaching and continuity around him. They're missing 1 key piece of their team due to injury heading into this game(not surprisingly can be said for the Eagles too and I'm not sure Nakobe Dean is really that key of a piece for them)

His defense may not be elite elite this year but Spags is still running the show and they're still very good. Their special teams are terrific too.

Mahomes IS having a down year for his own standards. It certainly doesn't mean the guy sucks now considering while his numbers are down overall he set career best in terms of game winning drives and 4th quarter comebacks. He and that whole team have ice in their veins, it's very commendable and we need that type of juice here.

But as others have said you don't get those opportunities if your defense can't keep the game close, if your special teams doesn't help.

Perfect example is the Denver win. Mahomes got credited with both the 4th quarter comeback and Game Winning drive.

Do we recall how that game ended? Leo Chenal blocking a 35 yard FG attempt that would've won the game for Denver.

This is a point you and some others want to ignore. Most of us understand how great Mahomes is...but we saw that he was not playing great football when he was missing guys. It's not shocking in the least bit that he's been playing his best football since they added Hopkins via trade and Hollywood Brown got healthy.

Meanwhile Brock has almost no consistency at his skill positions, OL having issues, defense can't hold leads, special teams can't stop hurting us. Coaching not making things easy until we're completely decimated by injury...and here we are thinking oh this season is very telling of what Brock is, let's forget the other 1.5 years we saw when the team wasn't a disaster around him.

Well said. A lot of people are in denial about that to push the narrative that Brock Purdy is worse than he is and Patrick Mahomes is better than he is.

And I bet most of those INTs were tied to a correct call. Again stop leaving it up to the refs. Score points. Stop playing like a puss vs KC and allowing them to hang in games. Stop them on 3rd down for once. Tell your QB to sell getting hit like he does. Tell Brock to run around and get some 1st downs like Mahomes always seems to do on those important 3rd downs. Take advantage of what everything thinks KC is only taking advantage of.

Yes there's been horrible calls (and no calls) it happens in every game. We've had bad calls go our way. If you think the NFL just wants KC to win and it's all setup then go bet your life savings on this game lol. According to you guys it's not Mahomes and he stinks…it's rigged or scripted lol. Sounds like easy money

How about zero holding calls in three SBs for KC? Really weird since in 2023 they led the league during the season. Easy to extend plays and convert third downs when the strength of your defense is essentially neutralized. And nah, they ain't winning this game. Philly better at every skill position with a monumental advantage at RB and their defense is statistically better. 31-20 eagles.

Star treatment unless your Bosa of course.

Both games.

But I love the sport, I think it was better in years past without so much foo foo, politics and whatever else. But, in the end, I love football, it is fun to watch, despite the frustrations..I loved seeing the 49ers win it all a few times and want to see it again

I can't imagine paying any attention to a rigged sport. There is no fun of I think my favorite team only won because of it being rigged

Oh so let's move the goalposts to only what the last 2 mins of football games?

You know what team this season had the most TD drives extended with a penalty? The BILLS at 33%

These were not easy to miss calls either. These are blatant holding calls and not one.... Not one.... Call. It's pretty obvious but common sense is hard for some.

lol you can't convince conspiracy theorists…I'm just making fun of the situation because it's so dumb.

You didn't answer my question...

The blatant holds on Bosa in multiple occasions during both Super Bowls. Did the refs just magically miss those or are they that bad at the job?

Yeah Josh Allen gets lots of flags and cries just as much as Mahomes. I do think a ref not throwing a flag on obvious false starts, holding and illegal formation is just as impactful as throwing a flag to extend a drive.

Extend him is what I'm talking about. We need to secure him as our franchise Qb and quit f**king around.

Dude is being snarky like always don't mind him.

There's no rush to anything. Nothing's expiring. Having a realistic perspective is a good thing. There's no emergency for a guy that's potentially locked up another 3 yrs. If he takes what's offered, I'd imagine that'll be great.

Just trying to liven up the debate.

Dude DL get held all the time. Sucks and should be called. Acting like it's some great conspiracy theory that the refs take to the grave is f**king dumb.

True. If Brock is great, it's cause he has weapons..but Mahomes is great because, he is Mahomes. F this narrative. We change this s**t in 2026 when we get the Six
